I would like to talk about this...
As many of you know I have talked about a blockage that I have when listening to Abraham Hicks. I have stated many times that I find conflicting comments made and that I dont take much stock in the channeling.
I have been watching and listening to many on this site and taking notes. I see so many frustrated, writing blogs of being STUCK, whining about not seeing INTENTIONS being MANIFESTED along with a long list of complaints and ending there blog with "Ester/Abraham Hicks" said this or that.
My thoughts while reading these blogs and discussions go to "If the Abraham Hicks thing is not benificial to you, why are you following it so closely".
I am trying to move past this blockage, and in my practice I have been trying to watch some of their videos on Youtube, to help me discover what it is that is so bothersome.
I ponder many of the things that are said and find some perplexing.
Example:
Subject, "Going with the flow". Abraham said everyones stream is different, however the source of the stream is the same. I am clear about the source. I dont agree with the many streams Abraham talks of. Abraham also said that the streams are all moving at a different speed.
I can only affirm that there is only one Source and one one stream. We are fragments of the Source(making us all one with the source) that ride the same stream. When we are in the flow we align with others that are also going with the flow.
Now let me paint a picture. That stream is going an a very fast rate of speed. It is coming from JOY/LOVE/GIVING at a very high speed. How do I know this? Because Source/God/Universe knows of nothing else.
To be in the flow you must be UP TO SPEED.
Imagine the river/stream being a FreeWAY in your home town. The speed is 60 miles per hour. You would like to get on that FREEWAY. You take the ON RAMP and to merge into the flow of traffic you need to increase your speed to 60 (to go with the flow). That is your picture of the alignment.
Now imagine getting on the FREEWAY at a slower speed. WE all know what happens when this happens. TOTAL chaos ! You have cars zooming past you, horns beeping at you, along with other not so nice things that I won't mention. Do you see how you are not in alignment.
Now to address another part of this getting on to the FREEWAY.
Imagine your trying to get on to the FREEWAY heading up the OFF RAMP instead of the ON RAMP. I dont think I have to paint that picture for you. Its pretty clear the outcome will not be a good one.

Heather, Jilly I dont see a difference in your opinion. As far as I can tell you are in agreement.
If both are eating the same friut one can describe it as sweet and tangy and the other may describe it as juicy and delicious. The friut is the same. Language, semantics, what ever you call it is all we have to descibe seeing/feeling/thinking, its limited at best. -

Yes Michael I agree, except that you left something out.
I choose to pick my fruit from a different tree than Heather. I'm all good. No complaints here.
Which brings be back again for the um-teenth time...The point of the discussion is move on if the information/method/teaching is not right for you personally.
I suggest that if the discussion about the AH teachings is to continue, who ever wants to discuss it, should open another discussion in reference to that.

I was merely attempting to use the fruit as a metaphor to describe source. Everyone will describe in their unique way.
This is what I meant about AH method of instruction, its hit and miss for me, purely subjective and as you have tried throughout this forum to hammer home if it isnt working for you move on. I get that.
As I read everyones response its clear that, ( the ego folks are an exception) that there is agreement amoung the differences which is where AH talks about going upstream, tolle speaks of the insanity of obsessing (ego), both are correct because they both refer to moving away from source.
I like to see the common thread that runs through everything.......since everything is connected to source even if doesnt appear that way.
enough said, Jilly your right lets move on ....youve already broke the record!! Who else would be capable of that?

What I hear you saying Jilly is that I am a bit off topic in posting my responses; however, This post was not just about blockage;you in detail described the confusion that Abraham's messages have with in it. I thought it was a great point and made me very interesting and that is why I chose to respond to what was confusing in the minds of people, not Abraham's message.
Michael if you look closely there was one difference between Jilly and Abraham's believes. Jilly believes that Source is part of the stream, but Abraham's believes that Source is part of us. That is the difference; very subtle, but very different.
I would love to know some names of other teachers out there that teach Law of attraction? Who do you study under Jilly and Michael? I love learning!!! I am my most Joyousness moment when I am learning!!
So that this discussion doesn't leave more people blocked I would like to clarify Abraham's teaching.
What Abraham did say was that we (us/ people) are an extension of Source (source energy) and Source is pure love and light.
We all have the power to create. When we don't go with the flow that makes us happy or another way to say it is source within us happy will create resistance; hence we go upstream; as a result, we feel negative emotion. Our emotional guidance system is allowing this negative emotion because this is how we know that we are going away from Source, upstream.
Its important to understand what you believe and don't believe in because our believes affect our feelings, our blockage.
This Form may go on forever! LOL Know one can stop it! LOLOLO

Carla, hey your back. How your trip was good and time was well spent. I have my opinion of all this Law of Attractions stuff and I just know you will be right there when I bring the subject up in the new discussion. Yes "Law is Proven" (smile).

I see that the law slapped your body on the couch to read all this crazy stuff. Hows the anckle? Do you know how long you will be out of commision? I'm sure we here can make that time on the couch interesting for you...lol
I'm going to respectfully close this discussion as I dont want to over load and blow this ning network out of the water. I promise I will start another discussion and I will also incorporate Heather's desire to know about other teachings regarding the LAW, out there, including MKS (Master Key System) mentioned by Carla here for which Michele has a group.
Not to open anther can of worms but...Carla, I stopped that my participation of that teaching because I was getting a head ache, while following along with it. So there is another one that I stayed away from. Maybe its the timing for me. Oh boy lets not go there.
