Across the board online there seem to be fewer and fewer Internet forums and the ones that are around seem less busy with less people posting than say just a few years ago.
Anecdotally that's how it seems although I would not know were fuller statistics were available to show a trend of Internet forums being clicked on and viewed less.
Why do we think this is happening? Did Internet forums hit their peak in the early 2000s? Are their golden best days behind them?
Do we expect this trend to continue and even accelerate?

I think forums are slowly dying because people are moving to Facebook groups. I've seen soooo many active Facebook groups out there and it feels more real because you see the profile of a person, their names so it feels like there's more of a connection.
