The 100 Day Reality Challenge

This is another discussion started by me tonight;) I guess I am in a philospophical mood tonight;)
My question is, who is a victim.
I think I was a victim most of my life.
I blamed others and outer circumstances for my lack of success.
I drew attention to limitations.
I relied on others to make me happy.
I was indifferent and did not know I created my own reality. I thought OTHERS create my reality.
I developed a severe depression.
I want to create a list of characteristics and as soon as I notice such limitng behaviors I want to eliminate them. There are many patterns of behavior we arry out on daily basis and we do not realize they are patterns of victimhood!
I want to help myself and others.
Any opinions, contributions and ideas, suggestions appreciated!

You make yourself a victim. You just started a discussion about prayer and looking outside yourself to a saint for help. Here you say that you relied on others to make you happy and thought others created your reality making you a victim. When you pray to a saint for guidence are you not once again making yourself a victim? Just my opinion...Jilly
Well, I think you are right, in a way.......So would you say that thousands of prayers to God/ saints have been useless? and their therapeutic effect on people's lives and health? Thank you for sharing your opinion, Jilly. This is really interesiting!
If it makes you feel good to pray, go ahead...PRAY AWAY TILL YOU ARE BLUE IN THE FACE. I just want to be clear that depending on the prayer, it can make you a victim. i.e. praying to a Saint and expecting an answer from someone outside yourself.
That saint that you talk of is only a person like us that is part of the collective and oneness with the Universe/God. If you pray to a saint and it would make a difference in your life, you can also say that praying to your next door neighbor would make a difference if you believed it would. I believe that praying to a saint or your next door neighbor, there is no difference except in your own reality.
Sure. I think it is true. No doubt about it.
So it does not depend on who / what we pray to....but how much power, inner work, concentration and visualisation we do........for what is a prayer if not concentration, visualisation, inner work...? ....?

Well, it is not enough to pray to make a fortune, we also need ACTION! If I sit in a room praying till I am blue in my face for a fortune and do nothing, then I cannot expect any results;)
But if I take action.....coupled with prayers ( or whatever you call them) on regular basis.....
Thank you Jilly for your insight, you have interesting opinions.

I just love you so much Alek, keep on smiling , I enjoy you so much. Love JILLY
Dear Aleksandra,
A word or two about prayer. I myself think that prayer has immense value and that no prayer is ever wasted. You are putting your faith out there to a higher power--all-Intelligence-all-LOVE--the CREATOR of everything -- who ALWAYS hears and responds - maybe not precisely in the way you hope, but always there is an immediate response.
Source - by any other name - called God by many, expressing as His/Her saints, masters, teachers and angels, as well as us, is EVERYWHERE present, and there is plenty of reason to say that.
So faith, to some, is best expressed in prayer, and millions not only are blessed, healed and receive direct answers, peace of mind, and guidance from it, but a great deal of comfort as well. And that is no small thing.
I personally think that prayer and affirmation can work together beautifully. You are co-creating with this higher power, by whatever name you choose to call IT.
Blessings to you
Jilly, I love your insightful answers and love the fact that you choose to keep your control. I have a question for you, how do you pray or ask? I find myself often disturbed by praying to saints or angels, spirit guides all that because like you said it means something outside of me has to come in and help me which obviously automatically makes me a helpless victim.
I was thinking yesterday about the same thing you wrote how praying to a saint or praying to a person is the same since we are all connected and a part of Source so it was interesting to come here and actually find your post about that very thing.
As long as I feel good and I have faith in my outcomes I can pray to whatever right, I mean it should be like that...since we are all one and everything is source energy.

Aleksandra, I love that you ask many of the questions I often I have on my mind! Thank you!

giggle...geeze you made me sound like I was the all knowing and powerful wizard from the land of OZ...lol

Seriously thought. I look to my energy and the energy of others. I try my best to request into my life what I desire when I am in a high energy. Calling reference to the discussion I started called "Frequency ~ LOVE ~ versus ~ FEAR ~" found at the following link... http://www.cocreatingourreality.com/forum/topics/frequency-love-ver...

I call on the Love of the Universe and all that is Love to bring about what I desire. I believe that there is no flaw in LOVE. All LOVE is equal.

Anamaria, YOU said in your comment above that you often find yourself disturbed by praying. LOVE will not feel disturbing to you. When you are disturbed this is a condition of feeling unsettled/fear/lack. This condition seperates you from the Universe/God/Source. You seperate yourself from the ONENESS of the Collective. The LAW of Attraction brought you here to realize the CONNECTION...giggle

Much love and light to you Anamaria, Hugs ~♥~Jilly~♥~

Hello:)
This beautiful website teaches us not to be victims!
Let us not be victims.
Let us create our loving reality.
Let us create beautiful, happy and loving people around us.

I think that the main way of being a non-victim ( Creator) is to:
1. Address your fears and deal with them
2. Develop yourself
3. Be the best you an be
4. Being RESPONSIBLE for what you create!
Some of us are conditioned to believe that God is outside of us but God resides inside of us and all we need to do is awaken the God-consciousness within and connect with this higher dimension:))) The answers are within. Meditation leads to introspection and self-examination and ultimate revelations. You are not your experience. You are not your body. You are not your emotions. You JUST ARE. A saint or a spiritual guru reminds you of your own powers and your own divinity, the connection you have with self. Don't mention the word 'victim' and remove it from your conscious mind. Replace the word with 'empowerment'. The subconscious mind is pulling you to play the role of victim to draw attention but change the script and with practice, you no longer think of yourself as 'it' but as a powerful and magnificent being. Choose your words constructively and it is the first step to radiate joy and be empowered. Saints and gurus connected with their higher dimensions and they merely act as mentors. You are OMNISCIENT, OMNIPOTENT, OMNIPRESENT, THAT IS GOD CONSCIOUSNESS and you are here to awaken those dormant extra-sensory senses. I find that mantras are very powerful ways of connecting with our higher dimensions and awakening god-consciousness. Meditation comes in many forms and shapes. Whether we chant mantras, or practice mindfulness or buddhist meditation, or practice guided meditation or even practice transcendental meditation, the main focus should be on achieving congruence and connecting with who we really are. Sending you much love:)))
PERFECTLY SAID...
