The 100 Day Reality Challenge

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

YOOOOOOOO !....Haven't seen you for a while. Where have you been hiding. Working I suppose. Hows the family?
Give my love to them.

So I noticed you put this in the discussion forum. What shall we discuss here? The truth of it all. The truth that we are in fact off springs of the creator and that we originated with out fear. Some might say that questioning ourselves is the unconscious begining of fear itself. How the heck did we inherit the ability to fear? I suppose it took a lot of convincing in the begining to circum to fear. I ask myself this. Was the light in the begining like the sun in my eyes on a bright and sunny day, so bright that I turned away from the discomfort that I felt when to much light pours in to my eyes? Did we in the begining put on the sunglasses to shade the truth, the light to make it more comfortable to endure as a human species?
Am I on to something here? As humans, the light is too bright to endure. As SPIRIT children/off springs of Source our Creator the light and truth is comfortable and shades are not required.
During this time of "Awakening" we are returning back to our SPIRIT SELVES and in doing so we are becoming more and more comfortable with the LIGHT. We dont need the sunglasses.
When you say "As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
I imagine it like this. So here I am...I take off my sunglasses and in doing so, I convince others that it is safe also for them to take off their sunglasses. If it didnt cause me discomfort to see the light/truth without my sunglasses, I have convinced them also that the discomfort is gone or that it didnt ever exist. It was an illusion of being....a human just have to giggle at that. I dont know why, but this last line brought a smile to me face...:-)

Glad to see you back. Stay awhile huh....J
Hi Jilly, I check in once and while to see if you have created another of your magnetic discussions but didnt see anything so I retreat to my daily activities... Thankyou for the kind words, I will.

I like your anology of the sunglasses that makes a lot of sense to me. I find that my vision has physically changed in a way that filters out people especially in large crowds, I think out of fear of running into someone I know. This is not living free of fear and the light of love is filtered. I have always loved this speach because I imagine he is speaking directly to me and I feel encouraged.
I look forward to our discussions, and though I purposely left this one open, I trusted that the message would stimulate some discussion. As you guessed Ive been super busy and as fall approaches I hope to have more time for our chats!

bye for now,
Super busy is a Good Thing, Awesome. Much abundance blessing to you and yours,...J

ianne williamson, heres a worthwhile meditation for anyone who is interested,

Very Nice Michael.
I know why I'm here.
A quote from this video you posted.
"Its Holy work to move past your own fear. It doesn't just help you, it helps the world."
Hey I just read this and I can't believe how true this stuff is.I have always been quite afraid of what my possiblities could be. I'm hoping that through this challenge I can deeply grow and feel amazing each and every day. I want to feel like I've just climed a mountain when I wake up in the morning. I also want to only atract love and true happiness this season. Wish me luck!
It certainly is real, insofar as it is just perception. Fear is the opposite of love and why not love? Love is more liberating than fear.

I would like to be in a place where fear didnt rule. Fear of a lack of abundance, fear of rejection. When I stop to think,
Where did this fear come from?
Thx for your comments,

Wow....what the Universe is capable of is awesome. My journey back to this discussion was amazing. First to receive an email that a disgruntled co-creator was shooting poison arrows at me. This before my first cup of coffee and piece of left over thanksgiving apple pie. Heavy sigh. Then off to read the outstanding blog from the disgruntled creator. Oh my heavens was she ever mad. That's ok. I said my Peace and moved on. I can only intend in my mind that the event of the blog will bring LIGHT to others regarding privacy issues on the net. But then it lead me to a responders page. I don't take the direction of the Universe lightly. When God points me in a direction I go. So off to the page of one of the sympathizers to send off a friend request. After all she lent herself to lean on in a time of need for the disgruntled. I like that. But then as I was leaving her page...I saw a glimpse of her friend list and spotted a long time mutual friend who I hadn't seen in a while on her list. So again, off to the long time friends page. I stopped in to say hi ...leaving her a message on her comment page. I saw that she liked this discussion in her activity so it peeked my curiosity...since I remembered being involved in this discussion that Michael wrote back in 2010 ....a long time ago. So as you can see, the disgruntled co-creator brought me here.

The first line of the discussion "“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure." was heart felt". Michael did you write that...oh it was Nelson Mandela.

I have long forgotten how we effect others.  When you bring light upon someone else's fear and it tail spins into a journey for does show us the Power beyond measure that we have. It surely is the light that most frightens.

The statement above I hold dear in times like these.

"There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you...As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”.

I haven't seen you in a long while Michael. May you and your family be blessed in reading this. This discussion has come full circle when first written back in 2010...over a year ago. And Thanks for writing it. And thank you God for using Heidi to bring me back to it, may you soften her heart and have slowness to anger, knowing that we are all most certainly connected as this occurrence has demonstrated.
