What am I doing to meet my first 10% goal of 5 lbs?
-cutting my portions
-cutting fast and junk food
-if I'm going to fall off the wagon it'll be worth it, real ice cream real brownies in a smaller portion but the real stuff not garbage
-get to the pool 1X this week
-add new body image to my vision board
-affirm it's happening

Hi! I'm new and hoping to hear about some of the non-traditional ways you all are making changes to your weight loss efforts. Anyone have some new thoughts or affirmations?

That's a good idea Shannan. I'll add it to my daily meditation-affirmation. How about something around your body being it's ideal shape, size and weight?

I just joined CCOR today; my Challenge doesn't start until June 28. I'm not sure yet what my intentions will be, but I know they will include weight loss. I've long been a believer in the 10% idea, so I was excited to find this group. I'll be following Paul McKenna's Four Golden Rules, as seen on TLC's show I Can Make You Thin. I'm already working the guidelines and they have made a major improvement in my attitude around food.

I'm really looking forward to being a part of this group, getting to know others, and getting healthier and developing a more healthyrelationship with food.

I've been putting this one off for too long. It's not the exercise that I have trouble with, it's mainly eating ( a lot ) at night, too close to bedtime.

I'm so looking forward to being a part of this group and holding myself accountable. About 20 pounds to lose. I'm taking it 2 pounds at a time, as to not get too overwhelmed. Blessings everyone!

Hi everybody: I have to lose 10 kilos because sometimes I feel tired. Three weeks ago I started a diet but I quit it. I am an addicted to chocolate and cakes. I am planning to begin with my diet next Monday. I would like to know how you do to be on your weight. Thanks.

I haven't done much in the area of weight loss lately. I have not been going to fast food restaurants much lately. When I worked I was in a rush alot of times going to visit people so I would often go through drive throughs. I am making healthier choices. I am thinking about joining weight watchers. I will check to see if there are scholarships available. A friend of mine had one once.
