The 100 Day Reality Challenge

Hello my friends: I’ve been having a bit of a problem (for lack of a better word) with the action process. I never know when to take action and I would like a little guidance in the matter. My vision for this year, which is an important part of my Big Picture or CMI, is to go back to NJ where I want to be, but to do that I need to have enough money to cover my mortgage for at least 3 month while I get started in my new environment. I’ve been visualizing and is all good but when I get an opportunity I don’t know if it’s me pushing it or if it’s an action I need to take in order to make my vision come true. For example, I got an offer of starting an Insurance company in NJ which will put me in a good position to go back even though is 6 month from now, to do that I require training which I’m willing to do, but also require to call people on the phone which is not my forte, I actually feel sick and full of excuses when I have to call somebody that I haven’t previously met. It is said that the action should feel good, should give you joy, that’s the way we know is the right thing to do, well in this case everything feels good, it’s a great opportunity, it’s my way back to where I want to be, but just to think I have to make phone calls, (they are not cold calls but to me it’s like they were), I get all uncomfortable.
I would really appreciate any thoughts in the matter; advice is always welcome or similar experiences, anything.
Thanks and

Lots of love to everyone

One member told me she read something that Wayne Dyre says if you do something over and over that you fear eventually the fear will go away. I also think you've got to start little by little imagining what it would be like to make your first successful call. Feel the joy, the relief, and start telling yourself somthing different than "it's not my forte, I actually feel sick and full of excuses,I get all uncomfortable." How about "I'm better and stronger everytime I do it, I just picture myself talking to my best friend, I'm feeling more relaxed and at ease each time, Yes I like it" Good luck. Hope this helps. If you don't change your mind this opportunity may slip by you and that would feel worse, wouldn't it?
Hi!
In my opinion, starting your own insurance company is a great opportunity, but it does not sound like you will completely enjoy your job since you say you get "full of excuses" when you have to call someone and you get uncomfortable. Like you said, when you take action it is supposed to be something that you can enjoy, that makes you feel alive because you can do it all day. I hope this helps. This is a bog decision but I am sure that you will make the right one for you.
Hi Luz Maria, are you familiar with EFT (Emotional Freedom technique). This is a powerfull tool that might very well help you with your telephone-issues.

Love, Emha
Great advice Julie and I second all that :)
I wonder about this too. You hear Abraham say that you shouldn't take action unless it's inspired action, unless you feel good about it. And in many ways I agree with this. Only take action if it feels good.

However, there is another aspect to this. I just came across this site in a google search and I really wanted to add this perspective so I signed up for an account. And that is this:

Abraham also talks about decisions and how it really doesn't matter which one you pick. Just pick one and then your job is to line up with whatever you have picked. You can't get it wrong. I repeat... You can't get it wrong. There is no right path. You just have to line up with it. Life is about flowing the life force and you can do that on any path.

They give the example of someone who wants to go on an Abraham cruise but cannot afford it. They feel as if they are stuck, as if either way they go, there will not be a feel good outcome. Abraham says it doesn't matter whether they go on the cruise or not they just have to pick a path and then line up with it.

I'm writing this post to myself as much as to the original poster or anyone else who comes across it. I sometimes find myself in indecision. I spend time trying to figure out what is the "right" path to take. But if you listen to Abraham, there is no right path. The thing about only taking action if it feels good is that it's like sometimes you feel like the lights have to be all green before you leave your house.
Hi: I don't understand how do you pick a path? Which pth to pick? How do I align with it?

Any input is truly appreciated.

Thnks a lot
Luz Maria
Well I know it can be difficult, the Abraham answer, I believe, would be to pick the path of least resistance. The path that goes with the flow. The path that feels a little bit easier and less of a fight. If you think about your decision it's possible that one of the paths feels like a little less resistance. That said, they say that the path doesn't matter so much, it's the flowing of the life force that matters.

As far as aligning, this is so much of Abraham's message. No matter where I am no matter what I am doing I will look for the positive aspects. Aligning is looking for the positive aspects of where you are standing right now. And once you pick a path of course you could start wondering about the other path and you could start thinking about the things that you don't like about the path you've chosen. But instead they suggest looking for the positive aspects of the path you've chosen and focusing on those. Also remember to align with wherever you are standing right now not just in some hypothetical future. Aligned and eager for more.
Just to add something to the mix, here was the quote of today today from Abraham-hicks daily quote email (which I recommend signing up for it's a wonderful inspiration in your inbox everyday):

"It does not matter what path you take, but it does matter if the path you
are taking is something that you are believing is appropriate. Nothing is
more damaging to you than to do something that you believe is wrong"

All Is Well
Just watching "Reality Check!" from Abraham today and Abraham poses a question that I thought was relevant to this topic:

Abraham: "Does a feeling of resistance about a certain action... does that mean it's the wrong action?
It doesn't necessarily mean that it's the wrong action. It means... it always means... you're gonna really like this... that I haven't done enough energy alignment to make it feel right. In other words, it doesn't mean it's wrong, it means I'm trying to get to much leverage out of my action.
Why not pre-pave it with more thought?"
How about thinking....what it is you are bringing to that person, are they not lucky to come into contact with you? are they not lucky that it is you they get to deal with? someone who radiates love, joy and good intention. I think you should go into with your heart open and think - it is all for the greatest and highest good. See yourself as having only love and good intention and it will come back to you...I hope this helps a bit x
daily abraham quote today:

"There is nothing that you can do that is worse for yourself, than to do
something that you believe is inappropriate. And so, get clear and happy
about whichever choice you make. Because it is your contradiction that
causes the majority of the contradiction in vibration."

(bold is my empahsis)

I read this as what is most important is to line up with your decision whatever that may be, rather than trying to find the "right" decision.
Luz Maria,
When you received this opportunity to go to NJ, did u feel a "aha" on your heart? That always work for me. I feel it.
Now you mentioned the phone calls....I tell you that it could be the right path for you. Sometimes, the things we have that bad feeling on it, are the things we need most improvement. They are things you need to overcome in order to be happier, where you are or in NJ. Don't you agree? Follow that, and once you turn your head to it, your attention, things will open, showing to you where you must go. Maybe the whole NJ could be because you needed to take this job, so then you could overcome your phone call problem, so then you could do "something" else that you have no idea now.
All of this is to try to say. Things are what we tell them that they are. If this job was the opportunity or not, it is up to you, you dictate.

Lots of love to you too,

Tatiana
