After a heartbreaking divorce I was a broken man. I was going down the path of anger & resentment. One day I realized this and decided I didn't want to be this person. I deliberately set out to find, attract, love and joy into my life.
Started meditation/prayer to CREATE THE FEELING of love and happiness inside myself.

This started attracting all manner of good people, teachers, books and the like. This is how I have Abraham and Jwerry and Ester in my life. Now Lilou and all you as well.

Brilliant! what a great story. This is SO inspiring Bill!

On my end i only recently re-connected to those teachings. It has been pretty new but i have been so ready to receive those ..and came at the right time. After reading their recent book ASTONISHING POWER OF EMOTIONS at a time where i was being challenged by being sued...it helped me to remove the resistance, and be in the flow about it. The deposition went amazing, i had a wonderful time, felt so connected..which is now leading to this person wanting to drop the case entirely after 3 years of law suits.. Amazing what can happen once we are in the flow!!

The three pack is the best Law of Attraction material that you can read! There is so much wisdom in all of the books. One of the important things about The Astonishing Power of the Emotions is that if you read the whole book in the order that it was written, even if some of the discussions don't seem to pertain to you, it will vibrationally balance you. It's more than just words written on a book.
I have two more recommendations for you:
Get on the A-H subscription program and get a once a month cd that has the highlights from their recent workshops. These cds are the best teaching tools I have found.
Purchase a bottle of ALLOW! from me which will remind you what your "work" is in the stream.

The video on putting the canoe out into the water is the process that I am doing now with my challenge. Starting with meditation, a few tools, and Esthers enlightenment, focus, action and believing that anything is possible. My canoe is moving in the right direction!

I was introduced to "Abraham" couple of years ago when I was going through a challenging time with a friend who was very toxic in my life. I read "Ask and It Is Given," which soothed me in my decision to no longer allow this friend to pull me down with her negative energy. "Ask" is now ranked as my most favourite book of all times. I have also read The Law of Attraction and The Amazing Power of Deliberate Intent. I am looking forward to reading The Astonishing Power of Emotions.
I also had the pleasure and privelege of seeing Ester and Jerry in person at an I Can Do it all-day seminar. It was fantastic!!!
If you want to hear Abraham ***FREE*** they are featured 3 times a week (the same program) on www.hayhouseradio.com. Unfortunately they no longer archive their shows. Check it out, it gives my week a lift every time I hear them (Abraham) speak.
Bottom Line: The teachings of Abraham has changed my life for the better dramatically!!

The Secret was a good start for me, but when I heard Abraham, it all made so much sense to me and that's when things started happening.

I was raised in a family of negative thinkers and carried that with me into adulthood. I was an anxious control freak. Once I started listening to Abraham and worked on raising my vibration, so many things happened!

I've manifested two jobs, friends, business opportunities, and books. And while I still have my moments, I'm not following in the negative thinking patters of my family and I'm going downstream more and more everyday.

You and me and Esther Hicks and everyone else will have moments, but now we recognize them and know what our "work" is. So we get back into alignment much more quickly. It's not like we graduate from Law of Attraction School, get a diploma and never have negative thoughts again. One of the things I love about the Abraham-Hicks material is that Abe uses Esther and Jerry's negative experiences as examples.

Ask and It Is Given has helped me so much in my life to put the Law of Attraction into effect. I am living the most wonderful life imaginable and I just want to share with others. I love the Emotional Guidance System. It helps me get past my ego based emotions into my life's purpose in a clearer fashion. I love this work and the people I come into contact with along the way. Hi Chris, After reading your blog I am so happy that you have been choosing to follow a path that will lead you to better health and well being. It is amazing to me how the mind,body,spirit all work together. I would also like to recommend The New Earth and Wayne Dyer's work. There is so much great information going around these days. I have been in a learning mode since I got my Master's degree and a divorce in 1971. That was really when I started going inside to learn about who I am and what is my purpose. All this time I have taught little kids. I retired after 42 years and I am still working with children through my books and through their parents. I teach a course called Redirecting Children's Behavior. Children can be taught these principles early on so maybe they won't feel the need to suffer as much as I did. Oh well, That's it for now. You are doing amazing work, Shirah. Louise Hay has always said that she could not understand the importance of having children memorize battle dates in school when they could be learning about the power of their thoughts and feelings and how they create their lives.
