ways to help vibrations match with what we are wanting to create / THE EMOTIONAL TONAL SCALE

THE EMOTIONAL TONAL SCALE
Developed by Esther Hicks and Abraham, this scale can be used to improve our emotions throughout the day. To use effectively, do an inner-check, focusing attention in your solar plexus region. Ask yourself,

1. "Am I letting creative Life force in. God force? Well being? Am I letting it in?"
2. "Am I holding myself in vibrational alignment with my desires and goals?
3. “Where am I on the Emotional Tonal Scale?

The Tonal Scale is as follows:

- Joy-Love- Exhilarated - Fully Alive - Ease

- Excited - Eager - Enthusiastic - Delighted

- Happy

- Content

- Indifference

- Boredom- Dissatisfaction

- Anxiety - Heebie-Jeebies - Physical Tension and Stress, On-edge
- Expressed Resentment (criticism, blame, complaining)

- Reactive Negative Emotions (anger, grief, lonely, abandonment, guilt,
worried-bothered, sad, frustrated, bitter, Self-pity)

- Depression - Apathy - Numbness- struggling

- Deepest Apathy - hopeless

I thought you might all share what you do to get your vibrations at their highest/LOVE :o)

Thanks! Stacy

This is wonderful and I hope someone shares. I do have a question. Is it possible to bounce around this vibrational scale? I'm hovering around anxiety but I'm also feeling excited and eager. And there is some of the vibrations happening in between.
Yes I find I'm the same, I bounce around different scales throughout the day..I now realise after reading the list. I guess it depends on what we're thinking of at that moment and what we're associating, the pleasant, unpleasant, or whatever feelings with. Thats a good list to keep us in check, it will bring us back to our positive intentions
Thank you for sharing this. Since having been on a recent, "pink cloud" full of enthusiasm, willingness and joy, it is amazing how much I am more aware of the lower emotions when they try to surface. I teach a class in video technology and our computers won't behave at times.I think most of us have experienced frustrating situations that hold us back from getting a task done that should be simple but for some reason a particular disk won't eject or an eject button won't appear in a task bar for a device to be removed, or the device won't be recognized AT ALL. I have taken these events personally but yesterday, I smiled, (sometimes, through gritted teeth) and said, We'll get this done. We did eventually work through the issues at hand, but I REALLY felt the joy leave at times because the frustration was consuming.
Amy - yes you can bounce around on the scale throughout the day. The key though is to stay focused on the next better feeling or thought.

Also, there is a very fine line between excited and eager. Which end of the stick are you at? If you are feeling any lack, it is likely anxiety. If you are feeling opportunity, it is likely excited and eager. Take some time to breathe and relax into identifying the feeling / asking where it is coming from.

One of the first things I heard about the fear of presenting when I because a trainer was "It's okay to have butterflies - as long as they are flying in formation". PIck the direction that you want your butterflies to fly in and focus on them flying in formation :)
Thanks Lena,

I'll check in with the butterflies and see which direction they are flying. And I agree it's such a fine line. I will look at the butterflies such as this, when I get up and act (on stage or in front of a camera) those are the excited eager butterflies. When I'm anxious those are the chaos, I'm out of my center butterflies.

Deb, yesterday I spilled half my coffee. Normally i'd be upset but I focused on the fact that I only spilled half which only made it half the mess. Plus I still had half a cup of coffee to drink:) I think we are on the right track!
Hi,

Well I do find myself doing a "where is my emotional set point" several times a day. When I realize that I am anxious and frustrated, I will do the "Focus Wheel" and put the emotion or feeling in the center and then make a larger outer circle that has me re-think and replace the thought with positive, well being thoughts for 12:00 am, 1 am, 2 am...and so on. The mere fact that I do this has help me recover rather quickly and now I do not have to do the focus wheel (only in more heavy duty situations).

One other part of my maintaining well being is to do a systematic relaxation that takes all the clutter and anxious thoughts and puts me in a place of grace, deep relaxation and the feeling of "coming home" after a long journey.

In Joy and Light....Jan
Hi Stacy!!

Many thanks for sharing!! It is very true!! But what also helps me is to ask myself who I really AM!!

I am not my body nor my thoughts nor my emotions....

I am GOD! THE CREATOR! THE SOURCE! I AM ABUNDANT! I AM LOVE! I AM LIGHT! I AM FREE!!

We only face problems when we forget who we really are!!

Much love and gratitude - Gina
Good question to pose I am human and I have past habitual thinking that wants to revisit sometimes...take yesterday for example a couple folks seemed to be standing in judgement of me then I in turn became troubled for a few hours so since I am not new to my feeling nature and I do sincerely want to feel free and wonderful I had to cheer myself up again to think
uplifting thoughts....my thoughts are usually things such as this IS the best day of my life I am grateful for my blesiings G-d thank you thank you thank you,I am soo glad I have dynamic friendships,I am free Let there be joy......whatever saying resonate I start with verbal statements then move into feeling better shortly after...I then like to cement the new shift with some activity I release by running or watching a comedy they both help me move out of negative thoughts.....practice practice practice above all it's ok to be human and wonderful to reach for better feelings......................may you all feel the beauty of spirit in all u do today !!!!!! WARM WISHES Robinlynn
Thanks for sharing this! I learn sooo much from coming to this place.
THANK YOU.
I do alot of bouncing around too, especially throughout the day. Sometimes I wake up feeling fearful and have to spend my morning snapping myself out of it to get back on track.
