Thank you so much Lauren! Yes, the interview is really good. I also bought Karyn's book "Soak your nuts".

You should look up one of Lilou's interviews with Karyn. She's like the queen of raw food and it's a really good interview

Hallo everyone! I don't have much experience with raw food, yet I would really like to try it. Unlike others, I'd like to gain some weight because I'm really underweight (thyroid problems). I'm not sure if this is the right thing for me. Has anyone information about this or some experience? Thank you!!!

Well we have both been losing our appatites since we started eating more fruits and he is starting to have a difficult time drinking soda and man he used to DRINK SODA haha now he tries to drink and big burger king cup and he feels sick to his stomach...he's much better when he drinks juice especially the fresh squeezed kind...so I guess those are good signs. We have also been going to the you know what *wink* more often...*flush* haha I have actually been eating less meat at dinner time like I will finish all of my veggies first and latley haven't even been finishing the chicken so that seems good...but it's definately a lot more complex than it seems. Well he doesn't think so but then again he's not looking at all of the detail haha. What about you all?

I know I read in Suzar's book that you have to get in dark berries and if you live in the city you have to eat veggies where as in the country you can focus on fruits (which is what I aim to do) but for now we are doing fruit and veggies and a small portion of chicken or fish about once a day...I find that dark berries are pretty pricey though, is there something in them that is in veggies, that way I can eat the veggie for that vitamin and still stay in my budget...cause we go through one of those $3 small berry things in one sitting :P Thanks

Do you know a good website that tells you what fruits and veggies you need to take in every day to make sure you are getting the correct nutrients daily? Like you know when you cut out meat and dairy and stuff like that. Thanks :)

cool, well i ended up trying avocado and that worked really well but I will be looking into this nutritional yeast :)

nutritional yeast adds a 'cheezy' flavor to foods~ you can add some to olive oil with maybe a little fresh lemon juice to drizzle over the veggies... i would add it to my mashed potatoes to give4 an 'au-gratin' flavor & add nutrition. you can also make pretty authentic-tasting cheezes with cashews, red bell pepper, lemon juice & nutritional yeast but that's not as easy as the olive oil sauce :) have fun! bon appetit!

Ok so I am trying to figure out how to make things really really tasty...with out cheese! It's like, NO CHEESE?!? :'(" haha So like tonight I want to stick with the steamed veggies, so I was going to make spinach witch grilled salmon (oh by the way we are doing raw in the day time and light meats at night) Ok so I was going to lightly steam the spinach but I don't know if my guy is going to really like it without cheese either...you know to be able to keep up eating like that...any seasoning ideas or other ideas to spruce up my spinach, that I can maybe use in the future...and even with other veggies! Thanks :)
