That is awesome! The only thing I have like this would be under the soul collage group.I post them from time to time...collages are truly amazing.

Thanks Stephanie - yes I enjoy the flexibility and ease of expression of collage when I get bored wiht drawing lol

took advantage of the failing afternoon Winter light, giving that cool tone of “almost twilight” to take some snapshots of my trees, bearing the heavy coating of snow. Close ups of hanging mirrored discs in the garden, with a slightly blurred finish added to the Wintery atmosphere. Editing the digital photographs in Windows gallery, I played around with the textures and positioning before deciding on the final layout.
Inspired by the digital image; “Earth maker” by Digby Curtis, a digital artist whose work with faery type characters I greatly admire and by online gaming/role play as a dryad, I wanted to create a beautiful, seasonal dryad character, taking advantage of the feminine aspect of nature and using a gap between the textures to suggest reaching from the roots/grounding of the earth to the sky – also the gap from Winter now reaching out towards Spring.
