Well, my grandson , deceased husband and I celebrate our birthday's December 19 & 20 th. Christmas has always been a big thing for us. I will prepare a big dinner in celebration. My family and I have come along way; through pain, scuffling and struggling with no support from my ex. I never though we would make it but We have and I'm very proud of my family.I know that the future will only get better.

During the Christmas holiday season, I really enjoy doing a sing-a-long Messiah, and coroling. Some people know I like to sing. I wasn't raised with a gift-giving tradition, but I can get into it. Whenever the gift giving is asked to be personalized from my heart, then I really enjoy the giving twice as much.

This year I am looking forward to the tradition of cooking Haitian pumpkin soup on New Years Day. This is my first time trying to cook this.
