I'm going to take an ARTBUNDANCE workshop! That is my intention. The law of attraction in action in regards to art! YAY!! I left the link on my page if you want to do it ;o)

Is there anyone out there still dabbling in mixed media art?? If so join in and start sharing. I feel dryed up when I don't immerse myself in artistic communities..

Isn't Andrea great? I just love what's going on with her and what she brings to the discussion. Right now, I'm doing mostly mixed-media collage with inspirational words. Your right Cindy. I only just realised the date of the last post, which is March! ha.
I was so inspired by your mention of Andrea Schroder and her abccreativity site. She has sooo many interesting things to share. What is your genre when working in your studio? I'm sure you'r producing great things judging by your photos. Art and creativity is so much part of my journey to, I hope when you have more time we can share some creative ideas.

Diana, this group doesn't seem to be very active lately, but maybe we can get it going again! I'm also a mixed-media artist who is hoping to take my work public soon! I am hoping to participate in the fall round of shows, so I'm busy in my studio.

Hello folks. This looks an interesting forum. I am on season 1 day 37. I love working with mixed media and want to take my work into a public domain this year, away from my artists loft. Last week I was shown how different plants and flowers can produce colour straight into paper and how clay and soil also produce interesting mediums to work with.

Art is in the heart. I love what I do and do what I love.

The far far away is paper. The wishes and the brown background is oil painting. The leaves are paper, dragon fly and words. So that is an embelished celtic knot on paper and then the whole thing is aged and then I put wax on it.
Thanks for the feedback! They are 11 x 14 canvas board.
