This sounds good, I'm joining you! I haven't been paying much attention in the last couple of weeks to my Weight Watchers Plan. I need to get back in the flow. I'll have to start tomorrow too. HEHE, cause I bought a lot of junk yesterday, that I know I'm going to eat today!
Yesterday, I declared a play day for fitness for myself. It was a JOY, let me tell you! I found a beautiful fitness club and have a free week-long tryout membership. I swam - gorgeous pool - quiet on Sunday morning. And I swam and swam some more. LOVED it! Then I went to another place and tried out a Zumba class - which, if you aren't familiar with it, involves aerobic dance, some from Latin dance, salsa, and fun moves, like a Broadway show. An ENJOYABLE way to work out! Then I went back for another swim - and as I was basking on the deck chair improving my tan, it occurred to me that I hadn't taken time out like this for more then FOUR years! Wow! I felt good about this and was even surprised to realize I don't know myself very well and saw immediately improved self-respect, recognizing more good than before. It's like getting acquainted with a new friend!
In food news, I discovered SOY yogurt and it is delicious! Stonyfield's O'Soy got my attention with their organic blueberry. Close your eyes and you could think it was dessert - but so, so healthy! At the local farmer's market on Saturday, I bought organic kale, chard and basil and combined these with a small piece of wild salmon for dinner last night. And I am making a conscious effort to drink the recommended 64 oz. of water a day. Really important.
