Thanks!...

Hi there everyone, it's me Kate who started this group! I'm back and ready to eat well and feel the best I can!! Lysh, I can relate to your eating pasta for breakfast and then feeling crappy the rest of the day!! I'm SOoooo sensitive to wheat products and complex carbs, they make me feel depressed and bloated. I'd love to support each other in eating at least 80% raw foods! I ate almost 100% raw for over 6 years and then gradually stopped. Lets do it and feel good EVERYDAY!

I know this is terrible but yesterday I ate a bowl of pasta for breakfast its one of my fav foods and I hadn't had it in a while. It made me realised how shit I feel after eating refined carbs (even though they taste great). I was an emotional reck for the rest of the day (esp when discussing a sensitive topic (getting a dog lol) with my mum on the phone). i am going to try and go 80% raw because I know I felt better when I was eating healthy

Hey! I'm not an extremist, so I find I'm balanced with 90% healthy food that I love, and 10% crap that I love (bagels, nachos or store-bought chocolate). If I need to satisfy the occasional craving, then I accept being 10% crap and 90% mango ^_^

It's so much colder in England now, autumn is well and truly here and there is a chilly wind and rain (with some warm sunshine now and again) BUT! I am still enjoying fruit and Greek yoghurt for breakfast (especially apple or pear) YUM! Lunchtime salads however are 'out the window'... replaced by a snack (like houmous and carrot sticks, or even, cheese on toast). Often I skip lunch as I'm not hungry first thing and usually eat breakfast 'late'. I'm enjoying home made soups, and am beginning to try 'food combining' which is less strict than 'raw food' and a lot easier in winter weather! Having said all that, I still enjoy treats when I want them. Today I had the most delicious flour-free chocolate cake! Very rich but very nice.... :-)

I have a question Kate! I want to loose the fat in my stomach and arms but I don't have to loose my curves...LOL. What's the best things to eat?

Hi everyone, I know it has been ages since I have been in here, I am trying to start my season 1 again (this will be the second time) and this time I am sticking to it! So I will post some recipes, videos and pics as soon as I get some done.

I hope everyone is doing fabulous and Claire that caramel apple sounds delicious!!!! too bad I'm cutting right back on sugar lol! :)
Nicole Bedard Comment by Nicole Bedard on October 11, 2010 at 9:56am
hehe Edith. I will eat a caramel apple with you!!!!
And yes, your watermelon juice and fizzy water sounds SOOO delicious- I am going to try those for sure!
I have recently been more strict about eating better after slipping. Not on a total raw diet just yet but semi-raw diet.

My new favorite breakfast : Guava juice and fresh mango.
The flavor combination is out of this world and super good! I feel so happy when I eat mangos!! I recently discovered them, after reading on here how many people love them. THey are SOOOO good. How on earth did I go without trying these delicious fruits! They are the perfect breakfast fruit. :)

And Guava juice, I've always liked that but my store stopped carrying it for a while- and it's made a come back YAY!!!
