Orthomolecular Wellness = When we have the correct Molecules in our bodies then we have wellness

Most of the information I'm sharing comes from or is an extension of my experience with Orthomolecular Medicine. The International Society for Orthomolecular Medicine is composed of a respected group of medical professionals from all areas including general practitioners, psychiatrists, naturopaths and homeopaths. This group researches, shares and practices applying the principle of giving our bodies the correct nutrition, and thus the correct molecules, that it needs to operate properly. This work stems originally from the life's work of Linus Pauling. This work is backed up by over 40 years of various types of research and scientifically validated clinical trials including double-blind trials and on-off double-blind trials. I have seen presentations on lipids (fats) that blew my mind. We now have the clinically researched ability to effectively reduce Alzeimer's to the point that it could be described as a cure with nutritional fats.

My psychiatrist (I have a great one) encouraged me to follow these guidelines while I took medication and I was impressed by the fact that researchers and doctors in the know take these same daily supplements to protect their health. They practice what they preach. When I was last at the conference in Vancouver as a recovered psychiatric patient (I gave a little speech), I definitely felt like I was in a room of extremely high vibrations. These people are VERY HEALTHY because they have seen the research and protect their health.

I have experience having and working in mental health. My recommendations for anyone experiencing high levels of duress, who think they have depression, psychosis, or a mental illness of any kind.... is that anxiety is natural given our current global realities.

Meditate, scream, cry, intend, love, eat organic, drink clean pure spring water, eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. Get lots of good sleep. Prepare for the truth, and learn, learn, learn. Examine and question your thoughts to see if they are accurate and/or working for you. Test your reality... what is real? Ask questions...

My feeling is that mental illness is the mind/body performing a necessary and natural function to encourage one's soul towards healing and growth. These emotions are helping one's soul move towards one's truth... down the rabbit hole. Drugs may increase one's abilities to perform short-term, or 'feel better' and think clearer however, in my opinion do not constitute a viable long-term strategy, due to their emotional numbing effect, ability to reduce cognitive functions, reduce immunity and liver function, reduce motor skills, and reduce the ability to thoroughly question reality in favour of whatever paradigm is offered by the drug. Parmeceutical drugs in particular play off our illusory and desires to be happy, especially in a world of increasing discontent, discomfort, and societal ills. This false sense of happiness is marketed to us in a very underhanded way in order to make us feel abnormal if we are not happy like the people in the ads. Those advertisements are fake, they are not real, they are in many cases subliminally and hypnotically suggestive. Not to mention... pharmeceutical drug companies are notorious for promoting drugs without proper testing and such....

Stay with the pain... reclaim your potential, claim your life even if it's not the one you want, it's the one you have, then once you have your real life... claim your fantasy, reclaim your right to create the world/reality/fantasy you want and see how you want to get there. In the paraphrased words of Dr. Tanya Wulff, psychiatrist extraordinaire, 'don't eat anything that isn't what it is, in the form god created it'.

I am very happy to be part of this group. I suffer of anxiety most of the time. I feel very nervous and sometimes I don't know why. I think being here, It will help me.

I love the idea of this group
My whole childhood (I am only 18 so its a close memory) has been effected my mental illness and it is a subject that I am very passionate about

My mother has bipolar and my father has scitzophrenia
My grandmother also has bipolar and my great grandmother also had scitzophrenia

So you can see why its one of my "hot topics"
Thoughout my life I alway wonder "Will it happen to me!?"
And I have been depressed on many occasions but as yet I have not suffered any signs of bipolar or scitzophrenia...

I will be following this group closely because I have alot to get out of the infomation as I try and prevent myself and my future children developing what I am genetically susceptable too
