The 100 Day Reality Challenge

Your Morning Routine - How you start the day makes a huge difference!

How do you start your day? Do you intentionally practice affirmations, meditate first thing in the morning, or grab for that first cup of coffee and run full speed into your day?
How you begin your morning can make a huge impact on your day-to-day experience. I am not speaking about what we already know - eat your breakfast - but the thoughts you allow yourself to think are a huge factor in the success of your day.
Beginning each morning with thoughts of gratitude before leaving your bed is one of my favorite techniques for setting the tone, followed by deep breathing relaxation and affirmations. Try out these simple ideas for a week, and share your experience. And please share any additional info or struggle with your morning routine.

Blessed Be!

Hi Claudia,

I agree that starting your day with some form of positive practise sets me up for the day. For me, it begins the night before when I set my intention for a healing restful sleep. As a student of A Course In Miracles, I give my sleep, my body and my ego to the Holy Spirit and ask 'Him' to choose for God (Buddha, Love, Truth.....chose your own word) for me as I sleep.

On waking, I give my day to God (Buddha, Love, Truth.....) in a similar way, then I get fully present in the NOW by focusing on all five senses and their interaction with the bed, the comfort, the warmth.

My ACIM prayer: I give my life to God to guide today, where would you have me go, what would you have me do, what would you have me say and to whom?

Mornings have always been a struggle for me because I have suffered lung disease and difficulty breathing which is gradually being healed through the power of my mind combined with the direction of Holy Spirit. I can vouch that beginning your day with positive intent can be life saving and certainly enhances the experience of life.

Love & Blessings,
Christina Joy :o)
