Thanks for all of the support everyone, things ARE becoming clearer about my health. And that is what I have been intending to attract all along. :)

I was wondering when you would post a new blog there. I check in regularly to read your Vox blogs.
Did you read my comment to your post the other day where I suggested you might be intollerant to some type of food? What are your thoughts on that?
Hey everyone!

I just found a FABULOUS blog post on this site, titled "Eat Your Vegetables." It has some great tips for adding veg into our lives, I especially like the idea of planning the meal the night before, and knowing what prep you'll need in the morning. I have been setting out my frozen fruits for my smoothies the night before, unless I want a really cold smoothie in the AM (which I usually don't).

This site was recommended to me by Andie who is also a High Raw Vegan. I am asking the Universe each day to show me things I need to know, to show me exactly what steps to take. I am using my Intuition to filter things out so I don't get overwhelmed! Even in the Raw world there is a lot of conflicting advice. It's all about listening to our bodies, don't you all agree??

Much love,
Clarissa xx
Hey there Bujababe -

I am a raw/super foodie newbie, having started an alkaline diet recently. Currently, I am working on eliminating wheat and whole grains, and investigating alternatives such as quinoa. Have you used this, or millet, amaranth, or any of the other substitutes? And, if so, what did you think of them?

Any tips or suggestions (or recipes) are appreciated!

I find this fascinating.

Thanks,
Cocreative
There is a great quinoa recipe here: http://100days.ning.com/forum/topics/healthy-recipes-to-help.
Hope you like it!

hey there Cocreative,
god on you for diving in, I seriously have not looked back and my life is steadily moving onto a whole other level. I love the living food, supafood lifestyle, yes it is a fascinating and compelling thing. As far as grains/legumes go, I don't really have them, although i have heard quinoa is a great alternative to wheat. For awhile I was eating essenne bread, which is a sprouted grain bread, sometimes spelt, someimes wheat or rye, and also we have sprouted lentils and mung beans in our salads sometimes. I now find that essenne bread is too full on for me, but it is a GREAT transition food, going from a cooked diet to a raw one.
I wish you well, cheers, bujababe
PS.as far as alkalising your diet goes, I try to do a large green juice everyday or green smoothie....lots of leafy greens/cucumbers/herbs/celery and the more green I get into me the more I naturally move away from grainy stuff in general...just a thought.
OK I need some books that offer easy (I mean easy) recipes, shopping lists, menus. Something that I can just read and do. I hate preparing food. I'm AHDH, so numerous tasks annoy me to no end because it takes me so much more time and effort then most folks. But I really want to start incorporating raw foods into my diet. Anyone have any suggestions?

Raw food made easy by Jennifer Cornbleet would be my advise!
Jennifer also has some videos on Youtube, check them out!
Thanks for the tip!!!
Hi everyone, I am currently around 25% raw food diet. After a huge detox I went raw for a month, lost too much weight and struggled to put it back on so taking it slow.
Plus a lot of preparation I found involved. I have been a vegetarian for almost 12 years now I only eat free range eggs which i buy from the farmers markets. i would like to be at least 85% as I still love warm vegie soups in winter, veggie stir frys.

The raw food desserts are great, a little tricky at beginning but once you make a few you get it down pat.
Finding this site has inspired me to get back into making more dessert stuff as I have a sweet tooth. I have been using agave nectar in desserts and dates for sweetness. any tips would be great.
