Hi all
I'm glad this group was formed as reading is one of the best ways for me to stay inspired.
Recently I have read "Manifesting your hearts desire" and it was great. Lots of uplifting stories about people creating and guidelines on how to put it into action. I even manifested $10 within an hour of putting it down!
Also enjoyed Louise L Hays "Heal your Life". Lots of great affirmations!
As for the Twilight saga, I got sucked in too. I only read the first two books then forced myself to take a break as it was keeping me up to the wee hours of the morning :)
I will recommend Phillipa Gregory as well if your looking for some juicy historical fiction set in the Tudor period.
Can't wait to read more recommendations.

Am into Anita Shreve at the moment and in particular 'Small Fits of Passion' and 'Bodysurfing'. Both really excellent! I'm also reading 'Impossible Saints' by Michele' Roberts which (IMHO) really challenges the notion of 'purity' as embodied by the catholic church. Happy reading!

I've just finished reading 'Catching the big fish' (meditation, consciousness and creativity) by film director David Lynch, among other things he talks about how his ideas and other creative impulses emerge from his meditation practice. He also promotes meditation in schools. I found this book and the authors activities quite inspiring and in contrast to some of his films the book was full of clarity.

I am currently listening to The Key by Dr. Joe Vitale. Debating on whether I should top off my reading menu with Rev. Dr. Michael Beckwith's Spiritual Liberation, Dr. Joe Vitale's Zero Limits or If the Buddha Got Stuck by Dr. Charlotte Sophia Kasl. Hmmmmm... many others to choose from but these are in the Top 3. :) Decisions, decisions, decisions.

Hi everyone, I'm really glad to have found this online 'library'! I remember reading The Lovely Bones a few years ago and found it very intriguing. I also read The Time Travellers Wife but I don't remember it as clearly as I did Sebolds book
.
Just lately I've been immersed in the Twilight Saga, although 'immersed' is an understatement, I'm no teenager but I've been so obsessed by them that I've felt like a teenager, reading the whole series twice. When I stopped judging myself, I realised that due to particular circumstances I never really experienced being a 'normal' teenager so on a very real level it's great to finally experience feelings that others take for granted. Looking forward to hearing from you all - Lynne

I agree! I'm surprised there aren't more members. This can be our online book club! I have also read "The Lovely Bones" and thought it was wonderful, deeply moving and profound. I am now reading "the White Tiger" by Aravind Adiga - it is taking a while to get into it. Will keep you posted.
