I live in a colorful, vibrant city, becoming more open all the time. It is a very exciting moment, as our governor is about to sign the marriage equality bill into law!!!

hey ash, thanks for inviting me :) awesome, what city do you live in? i too live in a colorful, vibrant city lol. i love how many things are happening here, it is impossible to even fathom the concept of boredom. i love that. i love how easy it is to witness others going through their lives on the trains or in the neighborhoods. i love being able to get around all parts of the city easily. i love the weather here. i love the people and how forward-thinking and idea-motivated they are about things. i love my birthplace for what it is, although i no longer live there, i still live in the united states and i am happy to live in a very diverse community where everyone seems to get along with each other pretty well! lol i love the parks and energy here, and how easy it is to access anything i can imagine

oooh awesome! i have yet to go to Chicago, I hear great things though! I live in New York City, yes we are having the beginnings of winter here too, the clouds that precede snowstorms were here last night and it was beautiful but i believe that snow headed to new england and we didn't get any. much warmth to you!

Warmth to you too! I hope to make it to New York one of these days. :)

I love that this is a city with many escapes, should I need one. And with beautiful homes, and with beautiful people...

Hey guys.. I've been to both of your cities and absolutely love them. I'm from a small-ish city and have always loved the idea of living in the "big city". I now live in Philly and I love the energy of the city. I love being able to get around easily. I love the variety and diversity available here. I love how some days it feels like everyone knows everyone and others there's a certain level of freshness. I found it quite easy to feel at home here.

Kevin-- Chicago is full of great museums, hidden-treasure-dives, a zoo, nature conservatories, and amazing independent businesses that feel like their own little cabinets of curiosities. And of course, there's an AMAZING store here that you'd love, instruments from all over the world with s great vibe and two stories!

NESIA--- welcome!!! It's so good to hear that you live in a place that really feels like home. That's wonderful. I've heard great things about Philly! Everyone I've met from PA in general has been great :)

Today, even though it's -3 degrees and I can't feel my toes outside, I am so grateful to live in a city where people shovel the walks. Makes the winter seem lighter (...and then I don't fall on my face!). Thanks, shovelers!

I LOVE that even in the middle of a "polar vortex" and the lowest temperatures since I was born, this city is still alive ;)
