This is the second in the series. I'll be adding more as the days go by. If we are to be effective CoCreators we'll have to look inwards, first, as who we are. Then we can access our wisdom, and our compassion. CoCreativity demands this as…

I think a reflective component - writing, journaling - is essential if we are to create meaningful reality and bring our CoCreative abilities into productive alignment with the universe.

The Next 100 Days

The first 100 days for me have been a delicious experience, because each day I have reminded myself, consciously, to let go of negative patterns and to learn to accept good things into my life.By making this a conscious act I've learned just how much I do manifest, every day and over a period of days, things that previously I was likely to think of as just 'luck' or as an 'ordinary' event. The ego has a way of taking miracles and making them seem as mundane as a rainy Monday. That's because the…See More

Telling Your Life story - it's good for your soul

One of the things I’ve come to appreciate is that whenever we tell our life story (and I don’t mean just blurting out a few details to a stranger about how we feel we’ve been mistreated) then we are forced to reassess important aspects of who we are. This is best accomplished when we write things down. Why is that? Simply because when we write we usually manage to slow down our minds a little, enough to notice just exactly what it is we really are saying. When we talk the words all too often fly…See More

Sometimes doing nothing is the very best thing to do to help someone else...

Posted on September 12, 2009 at 2:14pm 0 Comments

Occasionally I come across a situation in my life or my counseling practise where a person obviously needs some help and guidance but there just doesn't seem to be any way to offer anything. This happened just the other day. People have their defenses, and sometimes those can be formidable. At such times they can't always hear what's being said, no matter how open our hearts may be to them.

What I've learned - yet again - is that all too often when I feel this way in response to a… Continue

The Wisdom of Folk Tales: the Princess and the Pea

Posted on September 9, 2009 at 10:15am 1 Comment

This, on the face of it, has to be one of the most absurd fairy-tales of all time. A princess cannot sleep on a bed with one hundred mattresses because a pea is at the very bottom, making her uncomfortable. And this is supposed to be a good thing?

Well, if we read the tale literally it is absurd, that's for sure. But how about if we read it as a metaphor? Ask yourself this: What is it that keeps us awake at nights? Worries, usually. And sometimes we tend to try and blank out our… Continue

Thank You... Pictures, Images and Photos

Dear Dr. Allan Hunter,
It is a privilege to have listened to your interviews, the ones that Lilou and Baptist conducted. The experience was eye-opening; I am here to learn to open my heart. I am not there yet. It is a fascinating journey, one which takes me to the path of 'enlightenment', as Meister Eckhart articulates it. I don't need to seek it as it is already there. I need a shift in consciousness to acknowledge that which is perceived to be missing. THANK YOU!
