My Journey to Weight Loss Success (so far)

Posted on March 4, 2009 at 9:36am 0 Comments

Hey everyone,

I have been following the Weight Watcher's program for a little over 5 weeks now and I've already lost 14lbs, so close to 3lbs a week if we average it out! That's pretty awesome considering I've had a few stressful days and a lot of special events going on which means, a lot of food! LOL - But the most important thing is getting back on track because we can not stop these things from going on in our lives but we can focus on our goals again once they pass. I have set… Continue

My Vision Board

Posted on February 6, 2009 at 10:00am 0 Comments

I have just completed my vision board and noticed that most of what I put on it relates to being thin. I guess I feel because I am not happy with being this weight, I am not being the best mother, wife, sister, daughter, niece, cousin or friend that I can be. A new month, a fresh start!

So, from now on it's all about portion control and drinking water (which is hard in this cold weather) but I can do it! :) I will be going back to work in 8 weeks and I really look forward to buying a new wardrobe a couple sizes smaller!

As for my marriage, it's great! My husband had gone to New Jersey a… Continue

Gratitude List and Vision Board

Posted on January 25, 2009 at 7:19pm 0 Comments

Today I started thinking of everything I am grateful for and all the things I would like to see on my vision board. I will start working on them tonight. I am looking forward to seeing my vision board daily along with my gratitude list. I KNOW this will help me become who I truly am inside!

Happy Thoughts

Posted on January 22, 2009 at 12:47pm 2 Comments

I have finally come to realize that even though you 'think' you are having a bad day, thinking happy thoughts WILL change that! I woke up this morning, knocked over my mug, then dropped the napkin I used to wipe the spill on the floor and thought, oh no, I will NOT have a bad day! Starting thinking Happy Thoughts and here I am, HAPPY!! :)
