About Me:
I've been married for 20 years and have two daughters ages 13 and 16. I quit my regular job about 6 years ago so that I could pursue a business venture and so I could spend more time with my kids. The business didn't do too well and I've closed it down. Presently, I just starting a new job and am so grateful for it. I still plan on being a business in the very near future, but for right now, for me, the right thing to do is do this job, and do it to the best of my ability.

I love sports and am thrilled that both of my daughters are playing sports at their respective schools. They both didn't get into any sports at all until the 7th and 8th grade so I really started to think that it wasn't going to happen.

Season 1: Day 5

Posted on October 4, 2008 at 12:26am 0 Comments

Had a good first day on the job. I don't remember if I've mentioned what it is I'll be doing. I'll be driving the poor and underprivileged to their appointments, jobs, school, etc. I'm good with people so this job really suits me.

I can just feel the power of the universe working in my favor. Even though it'll be about three weeks before I get a full two week paycheck, just today my daughter and I went to a Sprint store to look at phones and I didn't flinch when she picked up a phone that… Continue

Season 1: Day 5

It's late but I wanted to get this in before I go to bed.

I start my new job tomorrow. I'm really excited about it. To me it's a stepping stone to achieving one of my goals and that is to start my own office cleaning business But I am flexible and so I reserve the right to change my mind in the type of business I'd like to start. I think that during this 100 Day Challenge I'm going to learn so much about myself that the type of business I end up starting could be something totally… Continue

New Job

Alright! I got offered a job today after just interviewing for it a couple hours before. Man! I thought I did pretty good on the interview but not that good. The position that I applied for was a part time transit driver for the underprivileged or disabled but when they called later on to offer me the job they told me I had been accepted for a full time position. How awesome is that. Things are looking bright. My intention was to get a full time stocking job because that is what I have the most… Continue

Had a great weekend spending time with my wife and kids. I am so blessed to have them. Fantastic kids, great wife. Played some basketball with my younger daughter out in the driveway(she's going to try out for her middle school team).

My oldest daughter was actually gone most of the weekend playing in a volleyball tournament for her high school team.

I am so blessed.

I'm going to name 5 things I am grateful for:

My family

Good running vehicles

Our house

Great… Continue

Season 1: Day 2

Okay. Not much to say today, but I'm going to try and commit to blogging every day as part of my 100 Day Challenge. I mostly watched college football all day today.I feel like instead I could have and should have spent time on my vision board and writing in a journal. Tomorrow I'll go out and buy a notebook that I can use as my journal. I think perhaps it's evident that I am somewhat of a procrastinator. I've got to change that about myself. I'm going to add to my intentions and goals that I… Continue
