I don't feel as bad about the lapse in blogging as I have before. It's only because I have been really busy an dprocessing my thoughts a lot!Good news today, I received a stipend from the State that will pay 70% of my college education!!! I am super excited about it. It won't cover a rolfing education but it does cover my Phys Ther ed which is the other thing I hoped to accomplish someday! It goes to show that when things show up in life, we just have to accept it no matter what the timing…See More

Day 17/100

Such a great day!It felt really good to get back to work today. My work hardly feels like work sometimes, I have to admit. I work as an aide to a man with special needs. Today, he had a Dr. apt, we had lunch, walked my puppy and then went to the rec center for a workout.I have sent out my resume to a few places. It feels really good. There is a part of me that is getting distracted by some really great looking fulltime jobs. But that would mean I would give up my dream of going to school. I…See More

Day 16

Hi all! It has been 10 days since I have last blogged. Whoops. Part of me really wants to be disappointed that I haven't done a better job with following through, but the other part is being very forgiving!I think that in my last blog, I mentioned that my children came home from a trip with head lice! I had to take a week off of work to deal with getting rid of them. It was pretty hectic. Since I was forced to stay home, I fell into a deeper slump of depression! It's ok, cuz I understand…See More

Good Morning!I feel so much better today!I am still trying to figure out a way to start school and stumbled upon a great solution that has been staring at me this whole time!!! So all I need to start is $2000. I think that coming up with $2000 by the end of January is totally do-able! I have to come up with the remainding $2000 at the beginning of March. I think that this may work out! If it doesn't there is always March...Today, i am going on an adventure to find a serving job at a local…See More

It's good to know others feel the same at times. So what you're really saying is balance doesn't really exist.. lol!! well not as we know it! Thanks for your comment, it really helped me put thing into perspective. Good luck to you and your family, I tell my kids the same thing..you can be, have and do anything and tell them about my manifestations...they think I'm nuts..well they are teenagers, they would think that regardless, although I have a sneaky feeling they are taking it on board but their not going to agree with Mum are they? that would be boring and uncool lol!
Happy manifesting, love and light...Alison x

Hi Carrie,

I would not be here if it was not for you!!

The funny thing is that with all of this electronic media and social networking in place...some of us become the best friends electronically, and are just a hop, skip and a jump away.

Without people in our lives, we are simply puppets dangling, and skipping through life.

Part of my goal is to make new friends and put myself out there. I don't want to sound too out there, but it would be great to meet in person and become true real, person-to -person friends. Or, maybe I am in a funk this morning, and pouring out more feeling/emotion than I should.

Thank you again, Carrie!!

Adventurous Perspective
Leo Daily Horoscope
You could feel adventurous today and seek new experiences to expand your consciousness. You might be exploring the idea of travel or studying a new subject. You might also think about ways you can vary your normal routine, even if you simply take a new route to work or eat at a new restaurant with a friend. Making a conscious effort to explore anything new and interesting in your daily activities will add new energy to your life. You might also think about ways to expand your thinking today, such as considering new ideas or coming up with plans that can help you achieve your goals.

Choosing to expand our thoughts and experiences creates a sense of excitement and fulfillment in our lives. Our desire for adventure is usually a signal that we need more excitement in our lives. Especially if we have followed the same routine for any length of time, we might feel that our activities have become stagnant and mundane. Opening our minds and choosing to embrace new activities and ideas will afford us a new, exciting perspective for our lives. We begin to feel more alive and deeply engaged with life, which lends more energy and meaning to each moment. Your experiences can take on new life and energy today if you simply choose to embrace new avenues of thought and explore fun activities.

I am very excited to start my challenge. I have created a start date for tomorrow so that I can get really organized today to be able to start strongly tomorrow. 100 days may be pretty challenging, but I am looking forward to the challenge. I have had the same goals in mind for a while now. Everyday I think about how and when I am going to start without really starting. This is a great opportunity to start shaping my future!!!
