Day 9 - Preparing for Fall!

Posted on September 2, 2014 at 10:29am 0 Comments

School starts tomorrow, and today I am preparing the house - with a smile on my lips and a song in my heart!

I just visited the Daily Intention group - what an excellent idea!  I had forgotten the joy of starting off with a good positive plan!

Fourth day bonus!

Posted on August 29, 2014 at 1:11am 0 Comments

Earlier today I was working on my long-term goals aka life priorities.  I named one Big Hugs, because I want my time with my family to be filled with appreciation and joy!

This evening, my son-in-law's new employer stood our group, which consisted of me, my daughter, her husband of course and the 2 grandsons (10  & almost 12) to the Evergreen State Fair in Monroe.  After, we had dinner at the Red Robin.

We had so much fun!  Those who wanted to went on…

Day 3 - progress begins!

Posted on August 27, 2014 at 3:59pm 0 Comments

Yesterday I woke up at 11:30 - and thought I would get it straight with the Paratransit so I don't have to cab up to the hospital for PT.  By the tine I was done with that & took a shower - there would be no going in public w/o that shower - it was 1 pm and I was already late for pulmonary therapy.

So there was good points and bad points.  On the plus side I stretched and took care of business by getting public transportation to pick me up for a cost of $1 per trip.  On…

Day 1 - August 25,, 2014

Posted on August 25, 2014 at 5:06pm 2 Comments

I just started working on my goals in One Note - and I see that all of my "goals" are actually habits I want io work on, and they are also almost entirely physical.  I guess that makes sense as my major complaint at this time is that I can't seem to breathe and move a the same time.  I am overweight, filled with water, and my blood pressure is skyrocketing.  I have COPD.  and my CPAP is not due to sleep apnia, it is due to not getting enough oxygen at night.

Only 4 hours of…

Agenda for a 100-day challenge!

Posted on August 25, 2014 at 10:42am 0 Comments

I am considering structuring my challenge in a way that I have not done before, including details that have worked for me in the past.

First 10 days, stretching and goal setting.  Include areas such as physical, spiritual, environmental and family.

Next 23 days, be mindful of all of the ways that I naturally behave while working toward these goals.  Be mindful of my usage of money.

Day 33, assess my progress and make plans to further my…

Hi Ellen, thanks for commenting on my photo, and for adding the extra information, unfortunately I haven't been there yet but I intend to at some point (hopefully in this life-time). I have lots of friends who've been and it's one of my favourite pictures. I've seen (and have) some beautiful pictures of it; I found this one today online. Love Lynne

seeing as you were wondering!!!, a 'skip' is a large metal container for disposing of old rubbish. You pay to hire a skip from a firm who deliver it to your home on the back of a lorry. You usually have it put in your driveway and then just dump in stuff you don't need anymore. you usually pay for a few days hire or maybe a week depending on what you need to get rid of. When you are done they take it away. There is a dump fairly local to me too where skips go to be unloaded then the stuff is sorted and recycled by the council

love and blessings

Hi Ellen. Thanks for asking. I used PhotoStory 3 to make my mindmovie. It is from Windows and you can download it for free. If you have any more questions pls feel free to ask. Love, Emha

Thank you for your comment on my Visionboard-video. A week ago I had never made a mindmovie and now I’ve made three. It is such fun to do so I’m sure there’s going to be more. I underestimated the power of creating one’s very own mindmovie, it gives me goose pimples every time I look at it (and an occasional tear)
