Day 7

Last night I started a new book. It's called Psycoanalysis and Religion by Erich Fromm. I picked this book in hopes that it will help me in my search for what I believe. Something that stuck out to me is when he says, "It is not true that we have to give up concern for the soul if we do not except the tenets of religion...The question is not whether man returns to religion and believes in God but whether he lives love and thinks truth."

Day 3 is going extremely well. I went to the gym for the third time this week and I brought Kelsi and Keaton (my future step-kids) with me. To give you a little background, I work as a manager at a grocery store. With the holidays right around the corner, I needed to hire a little extra help. My deli manager came to me when she found out I was hiring and shared with me about her niece, Amber. Amber's parents are drugs addicts who can't take… Continue

Day 1

I am a little nervous about starting this challenge. I think because I'm afraid of the result come April. I'm a little scared that I will accomplish all my goals and intentions, taking away time with those I love. Maybe one of my intentions will have to be Finding Balance. The three most time consuming goals I have are piano, workouts, and school. Time consuming has a negative ring to it....maybe Time Well Spent is better. Manifesting these activities into my life will be time well spent on… Continue
