About Me:: Hi there! I'm Marilyn from Maryland....interesting, huh? I moved to Chicago about two years ago and am completely in love with this city. I have been studying LOA and metaphysics for over a year now, and have noticed some significant changes in my life. I am committed to continuing this growth and personal exploration. I had a dream the other night – Monday night. It was more than a dream, it was an adventure. I dreamt that I was flying….more like floating…in fact; I would say that I was being lifted and carried. "Accounting" for the Non-Emotions

I've been thinking a lot lately about my career. The main thought that crosses my mind quite a bit is why and how did I end up in this particular field. I'm an Accountant. I have a master's in Accounting, and have work in both public and private accounting for over 6 years. In those six years, I've switched jobs at least every two years. I've been wanting to post something lately and, for whatever reason, found it to be challenging - until this morning. Yesterday I had a wonderful day at work. We had our representatives from our China manufacturing plant come in for a visit. During the meeting, we discussed the current problem surrounding the pollution in China. Due to this pollution and the upcoming Summer Olympics, China is implementing many different rules surrounding all manufacturing plants with regards to time of operations and shipments over the next several months. Exhausted and wanting MORE

On Sunday, I went to visit my mom at the nursing home where she resides. She is on the fourth floor which is solely for residents with Alzheimer's and Dementia. I typically spend a good amount of time visiting with my mom, then I'll spend the remainder of my time going around and chatting with the other residents. I noticed that as I chatted with one, other residents would slowly make there way over to us. Before I knew it, I was surrounded by majority of the residents. I enjoyed it so much. I… Continue

Thanks for the email!!! Finally, hee,hee!! I'm sorry I haven't called you..I've been extremely busy. I had an amazing time at the AMMA event. There are no words to describe this event..you just have to go to find out..it's amazing!!! I had so much fun meeting all kinds of people...there was so much pure love at this place...it was fantastic!!

I will be going to New York City August 2nd to see the guru I met, Sandhguru... and in the meantime, I've been reading, studying a lot about meditation and spiritual teachings. I'm going to a quite park today to meditate so that I can commune with God in nature.
