It's day two of my journey and I started the five rites. I only did ten of each. I remember why I stopped doing them.......it's because when I did the twirling I would get nauseous. Ok 98 days to go. I need a plan.

Welcome! I know you will do well. I'm on the weight loss journey myself. I'm 37 and weigh 280 lbs so I have 133 lbs. to loose. I have been walking 2 miles a day and I just recently purchased a Sauna Suit and I 'm sweating like crazy. I would like to run a marathon one day i know that is a lot of work. My intentions and goal is to lose 40Ibs. In the last 5 years I have gained 50 pounds and I'm so sick of being over weight. I used to be so active, bike riding, hiking, weight training. I ran the marathon twice and rode the 50 mile rosarita bike ride. I can't believe that I have come to this

My journey to 40Ibs less

Well here I go........on my journey. I was thinking. What is my plan? I thought maybe I should use the same motivation I use to meditate every day. Three months ago I started meditating an hour a day. At first I was afraid that I would not be able to commit. Since than I am amazed how consistant I've been. I tell you it's one of the best things I've done for myself. Ok........I'm going to start with doing "The five rites" it's a yoga practice that is thousands of years old, anyway I used to practice this form of exercise. Frankly I don't know why I stopped. Forgive me but I have to mentally prepare myself so it might take me a few day to begin. I promise next time I login I would have started my journey. Ok.....fellow co creators wish me well on my journey.
