The Path of the Feather calls you..

Profile Information

Relationship Status:
Single
About Me:
I am a mystic, barefoot in the meadows of enchantment, forgetful of the practical and yet very earthy and grounded. I am a lover of peace, kindness and truth. I seek JOY and ALIVENESS and wish to live a conscious, fulfilled life that HONORS nature.
Season:
Season 2
Starting Date:
September 6, 2008
Intentions & Goals:
Season 2: September 6 - December 15th, 2008

My Intentions:

1. I seek serenity by paying close attention to what I am surrounding myself with (physical environ, words, people), and by being in touch with how I feel so I know when to self-correct if necessary.

2. I seek aliveness by aligning myself with the path of my passion and saying YES to all that entails, even if it's scary.

3. I continue on the path of Radical Self-Acceptance by accepting myself in each moment, one day at a time, regardless of where I am at. I choose to honor and respect myself by speaking my truth and know that I can truly hurt no one if I follow my own inner compass of what is right.

4. That said, I aspire to the spirit of Lovingkindness in all endeavors, which includes kindness to myself.

Manifestations (what I am bringing to me this season):

1. I am surrounded by a loving space that only contains those things which I love and whose energy is aligned with where I want to go in my life. I welcome open space, bright color, love, and light.

2. I am living authentically and receiving (and acting on) guidance re: my path in life and finding the passion I want to make my life's work.

3. I have a spiritual practice that I easily maintain because I understand fully how centered it makes me; how alive and present in my life. My life is reflecting this new change, bringing me wonderful new surprises, friends and opportunities/manifestations. This practice is in balance with nature: welcoming new forms of art using nature into my life (Mandalas, medicine wheels, shamanic journeys, vision quests). Embracing this new aspect of my spirit life and seeing my normal life as sacred.. the Path of the Feather.

4. I am honing and working on new creative ideas constantly.

5. I have two completed websites launched, ones that I am proud of and that reflect the things I intended; I have also gathered the goods for an etsy shop and developed the design for the storefront.

6. My novel is polishing up quite nicely. Major plot points have been corrected, parts re-written, other parts written and filled in. The work of the first re-write is complete or nearing completion!

7. I am making 25-50% more every month, and developing my wealth consciousness.

Practices:

*Hourly Body Check-ins (how do I feel? am I hungry?)

Daily (not all those, but several of these daily)

Meditation/Shamanic Journeying
Dancing -- 5Rhythms or Nia
Morning Pages
EFT
Visualization
Louise Hay Self Esteem Affirmations
Mirror Work
10:10
Affirmations

Additional tools:

Intuition skills practice
smudging/space clearing
Automatic writing
the archangel vacuum
rampage of appreciation
The Prosperity Game

Day 29: Addicted to Success?

Posted on October 4, 2008 at 10:30pm 0 Comments

Well, we're in a new month, and I've officially entered Phase Two of my 100 Day Challenge, although I didn't really complete Phase One. The only room completed in my house-clearing intent is the bedroom, although that has been HUGE. I have found serenity in there and since my altar is in the corner, I've cleaned up the energy of the room as well.

So.. being addicted to success or at least the path to success, I re-joined the 45 Day Challenge for a new season which began October 1st.… Continue

Day 23/S2: Intentions and Purpose: MOTHER

Posted on September 28, 2008 at 10:00pm 1 Comment

The word MOTHER has been glittering through my dreams and day-visions lately. The first time it was fully formed as a word in the sky; the second time it was a tattoo on the small of my back, the Tree of Life with the three moons above it -- all encased in the word MOTHER. And in the third it was made of flowers, so gorgeous, not macabre like the fake cemetery monuments that say "MOTHER".

I had asked: What is my purpose? Knowing I had known it once, though it slipped through my… Continue

Day 22/S2: Intentions and did I live up to them?

Posted on September 28, 2008 at 12:30am 0 Comments

This morning I set the following daily intentions. This is my check-in.

I intend to have a FUN, happy, magical day.

Oh my. It was a dreary, rainy day and I worked so hard I forgot to have FUN.

I intend to have a very productive space clearing today.

I did have a productive day. Not as productive as stated in my intentions, but much more productive than I would have been had I not stated any intentions to begin… Continue

"My happiness depends on me, so you're off the hook."

Posted on September 24, 2008 at 9:41am 0 Comments

I loved today's Abe quote:

Tell everyone you know: "My happiness depends on me, so you're off the hook." And then demonstrate it. Be happy, no matter what they're doing. Practice feeling good, no matter what. And before you know it, you will not give anyone else responsibility for the way you feel—and then, you'll love them all. Because the only reason you don't love them, is because you're using them as your excuse to not feel good.

Excerpted from a workshop in… Continue

Day 18/S2: Two more feathers in my pocket

Posted on September 23, 2008 at 7:02pm 1 Comment

Yesterday I was walking, thinking about how, since I'd consciously been on the path of the feather, I'd found feathers daily (Friday and Saturday) but not on Sunday. "Where is my feather?" And I looked down and THERE it was, small, white and grey. Today I found an almost identical one. Isn't it funny.. I could have found three feathers one day and none for several days but instead I find a single one almost every day.. I thank the animal spirits and the Universe for sending me gentle reminders… Continue

Sara, I saw you're comment on Talula's page about Nia, I have a done martial arts and was planning to do yoga and/or tai chi so this Nia seems like a good thing to check out.
Unfortunate their are no classes nearby, but I'm sure a solution will present itself in time.

Hi Sara,

The group with which I dance is quite big in my town. Last wednesday we danced the rhythms with 40 people! It was great. And although alternative practices like yoga, meditation etc usually attract mainly women, at the dance sweats here in Nijmegen we usually have about 50% men, which really effects the atmosphere/energy!
