About Me:
I'm a 30 y/o bisexual and polyamorous female, loving and enamored with the beauty of the physical and spiritual world, who is who is living in Puerto Rico for the next two years as my husband is getting his BSN.

After the birth of my first child I suffered from postpartum depression, I found a balance or just buried my feeling in order to work full-time. By the time my son was a year old, I was emotionally, spiritually and physically beat and exhausted. My work day was 12-14 hours a day which included a 4 hours of traveling with my son. Both my mom and my first nephew who was 5 had relapsed with their cancers. I took sometime off of work to focus on being able to function again. I turned my worries, stress, fears and pain towards food. I returned to work again and for comfort I continued to turn to food. I lost both my mom and nephew and then had my daughter. I barely managed to make it back to work after my daughter and before too long I was unable to work. I am now "job-free" and ready to reclaim my full health and ease any emotional feelings in healthy ways and avoid "eating my feelings". I truly love working out and plan to make that a priority and just make a full healthy recovery for my body, mind and soul.

Here are some of my interests and passions: I love my family, parenting, working with children, belly dancing, yoga, pilates, cooking (especially exotic cuisine my favorite being Indian, improving my community, creating anything artistic, especially photography and filmmaking.

Day 10, My Career Path Realization

Posted on December 4, 2008 at 3:20pm 0 Comments

Yesterday I came to an amazing discovery. I have been trying to visualize my potential career and educational path and I had so many ideas that I just didn't know what thing and do. During my friends visit we spoke a lot about birthing and pregnancy since she is a doula and will be going to school to become a midwife. Speaking to her really rekindled my passion for birth and I have decided to go to follow in my husbands footprints and go to his nursing school starting next fall. We really have… Continue

Posted on November 25, 2008 at 11:18am 0 Comments

Today I commit to putting my fitness goals & health first. I will eat healthy fruits, veggies, proteins, at least 30 g of fiber and maintain my food and exercise journal. I will plan ahead to ensure I have healthy balanced meals and snacks no matter the situation. I will not allow my emotion or mood dictate what I eat or how much I eat. I will write down everything I eat and focus on measuring to get an accurate calorie count. I will eat for optimum health and weight loss and each day my… Continue

I am very thrilled to the 100 Day Reality Challenge and look forward to staying focused and creating a life I love passionately! The bulk of my focus is towards health, fitness and balance. Today I started on the right foot, I started a food and exercise journal and have been eating well balanced meals. This morning I worked out my full body for 45 minutes, followed by a run/jog/walk on the beach and did lots of stretching.

I am grateful for the power of the mind, change, momentum,… Continue

Congrats on finding your answer! It's funny, when you search and search then finally find your answer, you realize it was right in front of your face. *lol* It happens to me and I can't help but chuckle and be thankful.

Merry Meet!
Thank you so much for contacting me Your words are wonderful and I understand your opportunity with weight. I too have a goal weight of 135lbs.
You are in a magickal WONDERFUL place; Puerto Rico. My background is Puerto Rican but I was born and raised in New Jersey. There is so much on the island to explore, learn and discover. Go to El Yunque-the falls and just relax there. Be still and hear the falls. It will transform you. Go to the ocean. Float in the warm waters and listen. Go to the countryside, walk and take pictures. Be quiet. Be mindful. The island is alive and if you listen it will talk to you and make you part of it. But you have to be courageous and not hide your emotions. You are so lucky and blessed to be there during the 100 day challenge. I miss the island and it's been long due for my return. Take lots of pictures. I would if you would post them. Welcome!
