About Me:
More than anything in this world, I believe in people. I believe that people are inherently good and that they are worth investing love, vulnerability, time, and energy in. I believe that everything in life can be overcome by love and laughter, truly the best medicine. I believe that we must inherently love and accept ourselves before we can begin to help others love and accept themselves or have someone else love and accept us. I love life, the pure, simple joys of life.

I believe in the power of vulnerability. Not in the sense of letting yourself be stepped and walked on by people, but by opening up to others, by being true and real. I think that when we're vulnerable to the right people, something inside us changes. We give ourselves unconditional permission to be who we are.

I'm 24 years old and finally ready to enjoy life to the fullest and take full responsibility for my life. I know that God has blessed me immensely and that I am capable of amazing things, if only I just believe in myself. I recently realized that there is very little that we can control in life, but we can control ourselves, our thoughts, and our behaviors. In 2010, I'm committed to living life to its fullest, being open to all doors, and accepting unconditionally.

How I Would Need to Live the Rest of My Life...

Posted on May 6, 2009 at 12:30pm 2 Comments

Some days its worse, some days it's better. Today the lethargy and the headaches became so paramount and almost became unbearable. My eyes started to well up with tears when I thought about the life I used to live. How I used to take my health for granted. How I used to be able to run fine on little sleep and not sufficient nutrition. Not good, I know. I mourn the toll that the physical ailments have taken on my creative energy and vitality. But this is all useless, this is no… Continue

Beautiful Poem About Life

Posted on May 3, 2009 at 3:06pm 2 Comments

I came across this gorgeous poem by an unknown author, but I thought it was too beautiful and inspirational to keep to myself. Enjoy :)

May you find serenity and tranquility in a world you may not always understand. May the pain you have known and the conflict you have experienced give you the strength to walk through life facing each new situation with courage and optimism. Always know that there are those whose love and understanding will always be there, even when you feel… Continue

Making Peace with My Health

Posted on May 2, 2009 at 4:00pm 2 Comments

I'm learning to make peace with myself. Over the last two months, I've really been unable to accept my the physical and mental disturbances that I have experienced, presumably due to some sort of infection, but truly, I'm tired of fighting it. For so long I've morned the life and the energy that I used to have. I've searched the internet for reasons for my mental and physical condition. I've rested, slept, and I've isolated myself from life and people. I've cried and punished myself. I've taken… Continue

Hi Suzanne! Looks like you just started your 100 Day Challenge same time as me. I thought you might enjoy a book I read last year, it is called "Olive Leaf Extract" by Dr. Morton Walker (you'll find it online at Amazon or similar). This book is great for natural health. There is even more great information you might enjoy at and . I read so much on health and well-being after my daughter was born in late 2006 I understand the value of our immune system and balanced nutrition. Best wishes for you as you go for your goals and intentions! ~ Sarah
