To simply see my goals come to life, stop putting everything on hold. Be more healthy, have energy, laugh more, entertain more, take nothing for granted. This is the jump start I needed to get everything in motion.

My Top 10:
1- To eat Healthier
2- To Exercise at least twice a week, then work my way up to 3...look, this will take some effort.
3- To read books that enlighten and leave me feeling great. NO MORE DRAMA FILLED BOOKS!
4- Listen to music whenever I feel down. Always puts me in a better mood.
5- Balance my checkbook and actually know how much money I have.
6- Spend each moment in solitude for about 1/2 hour before I start my day.
get 7-8 hrs of sleep. I need my sleep.
7- Start taking pictures. I want to have a visual journal of my life. One minute I was in my twenties, next thing I know, I'm in my 40's. I want to have more pictures of people who mean the world to me.
8- I want to go on a renewal vacation this year. I've never been on a cruise, maybe I'll look into it.
9- Stop stressing about little things, really does not matter.
10- Get more involved in my community.

This should hold me! LOL!

100 Day Challenge - Day 10, Season 1

Posted on January 24, 2009 at 3:30pm 0 Comments

Well for the first week of my challenge, I have eaten more vegetables and fruits that I ever have in my life! I feel a bit better. Somewhat lighter.

I have been trying to log in each night with a brief note, but this week I was all into the inauguration and I did not get to work until Thursday, I was feeling a bit under the weather (nasty virus going around). But at least I didn't catch it. More than likely just exhausted. So eating right the week was perfect timing.

Today… Continue

Have been busy since Thursday...

Want to blog every day, but so much stuff goes on, feel exhausted by end of day. But I think I can get back on track now.

Well on Thursday, Day 1 Season 1 I wrote down my feelings. I realize that I did not clearly state on what I wanted to work on. I also forgot that I am currently reading a book "Caught Between A Dream and a Job" by Delatorro McNeal II. Great book. of course it's about that states that a person's work was never meant to be just a job (which is what I have been… Continue

OK, I'm not sure about this either...putting your intentions out for everyone to read is a bit scary. But I am so in need of a change in my life, I'm trying unconventional methods. At least unconventional as far as my family would be concerned.

Right now I'm in a temporary job that I despise. And do not get me wrong, I am grateful for having the chance to have a paycheck. But because of the economy, it would seem as if I have no choice. I DO HAVE A CHOICE in is to actively search… Continue

Hey creativesista. Hotlanta is flipping cold! Brrrrrrrrrr. :) I'm going to check out that book you mentioned on your blog. Check out and search the career section for Marcus Buckingham's workshop. He walks you through how to find your strengths. It only makes sense to build your vocation/career on your strengths, right? Although I keep doing the opposite. (Smacking forhead -- Duh!!) Take care.

Hi creativesista. I hear you on the job thing. All I can say is, listen to that voice that keeps whispering that there is more. Look at what you enjoy doing and are good at. This is key. Maybe look closely at art and your vision boards -- being published in that book is an awesome thing! My personal belief is that we came to this world to have FUN, feel good and love. There is a way to earn a living doing what brings you joy. I believe that for me and for you! Best wishes!
