Starting again, and again..

Been a long time since I last posted, or logged in..   but it was nice to see that the goals that I put up almost a year ago are still relevant today, and that I have been taking consistent action to achieve them..   Sometimes you need a break from writing about what you're going to do, to just doing it..  Since my last post I've moved to a new city and have rediscovered my sense of purpose, which had been missing for the past couple of years.  With god's help,  I will be writing about how I…See More

Well here I am again, 5 months after my last post! Since January, I have been spending a lot of my energy running to stand still, and to fight off the effects of the Economic slowdown. However you and can only do so many 14 hour days, before you start to question what its for.. and once I started that converstation with myself I realised that I was stuck in a role that was no longer fullfilling, inspiring or rewarding. So I have decided to step back from my business and embark on a new… Continue

Well, now on my 9th day into season 4 and this is my first blog for a couple of months..

I took some time to go offline to battle with the demons and little voices inside my head, who were draining my energy and positivity,, after a long christmas break with family and friends, I feel my joyful spirit is coming back and the manifestations are starting to appear, and the storm clouds are beggining to dissapear. I have taken the step to let go of old habits and ways of thinking, and… Continue

It looks my blogging is taking a bit of a dark twist.. But I´m not losing my positivity, but sometimes to find your positive side you have to become your negative side, and I have definately been overindulging myself on this over recent weeks but now this is coming to a close.

Fear closes doors, minds and hearts. fear makes you defensive, fear blocks possibilities for growth. Love opens doors, miind and hearts. Love helps you to embrace people and ideas, love opens and creates new… Continue

Hiya mate,

Thanks for your message, I'm so honoured you thought of me for inspiration. I have to admit I haven't followed my last challenge very well but I have still been working on my goals. I'm in the UK right now but when I return to Canada in a couple of weeks I'm going to start a new list of goals and stay focused.

Anyway I never did join toastmasters, there were too many things I wanted to do and I realised toastmasters wasn't high on my list of prioriites. I am buying a Mac in a few weeks but right now my priority has to be on my career and finding my perfect relationship. I will update my page soon.

Well good luck with the challenge and stay in touch if you need someone to chat with. Take care.

Hello Jason,

Thanks for the comments and it's so good to hear you're still keeping up with the challenges.

I've just started something new; I just hired a life coach the other day because I too have found staying on track with these challenges a little tough at times. Anyway I don't know how well this will work but I wanted to share that with you because I know it can be difficult to balance all the different aspects of life. I was also suprised I can correspond with my coach via email and it wasn't that expensive. I will blog about how that goes but personally I felt being accountable to someone might help me out. Anyway take care.

Hello Jase,

Great pic! What a cutie your child is. No worries about taking time to get back to me, it's just good to hear from you.

I can see where you're coming from but don't feel your goals aren't big enough, the important thing is that they resonate with you. I felt a little overwhelmed for the first couple of weeks because I wasn't visualising or writing affirmations or really any of that stuff. I am now but I told myself I would start when it felt right to me. I have done a few challenges before just on my own; the first one was great I was motivated pretty much all the way through but then the next couple were a disaster because I pretty much forgot about them a few days in. This challenge is going well because I was in a real funk beforehand and this challenge is just what I needed to pull myself out of the doldrums and get motivated.

Anyway keep at it and if you need a cheerleader on occassion then feel free to drop me a line.

Take care.

Hiya Jase,

Just saying hello. One of my challenges is to make more friends, particularly with men. No reason really. I hope your challenge is going well. How is sunny Spain? cold Canada is cold. Brrrrrr!
