About Me:
I was born and raised in the Bluegrass region of Kentucky. In college, I studied art. After college, I moved to New York where I lived for ten years, and earned a master of fine arts degree in fiction writing. I now make Kentucky my home with with my boyfriend, who is a photographer and restorer of old homes, a tabby cat and a pug.
I write fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. I teach writing workshops and help other writers silence the inner critic and find their deepest work. It is especially important to me to work with women of all ages to assist in the journey of self-empowerment and reclaiming voice.
I am also an energy and intuition worker. I was attuned to Reiki III in 2008 and offer Reiki healing sessions, teach Reiki classes, and offer creative life coaching to all sorts of beautiful people.
I believe that we create our own lives every day.
I believe that each moment is an opportunity for change.
I believe in the magic that lives between the writer and the reader.
I believe in the power of creativity.
I believe that each one of us on this planet is an artist and a writer with a story to tell.

Hello and Happy New Year

Welcome to 2010.

This is the first day of my latest season of the 100-Day Reality Challenge and I greet it with open arms.

I created my dream board for the year last night and I love it. (It's my best one ever!)

I also chose a word the year: passion.

This first intention I have for this 100 days has to do with clarification and detox. (Once again) it's time for me to give up sugar for a while.

I just saw a note you left on another page and came over. I didn't know you were back in the challenge. I really enjoyed your videos in season1 so it good to see you here. I find its harder to keep track of people on ning. I have to go watch some videos to catch up on what you've been doing. I heard you were doing readings, are they reiki sessions?
