So thankful that it's finally mid winter break. Break for me means not only a chance to recharge, but knowing that halfway through the semester I'm doing well and getting all A's (with the regrettable exception of a B- I'm trying to bring up) in my classes. This is a big deal, as I've never been this busy, and my classes have never been this difficult.
It's great, though, truly. I've made so many new friends who are creative like me, and who are big travelers. This…Continue
Day 25 of my season 5 and it has been an extremely emotional week. Wednesday we had to put down our doggie. Moose, that we've had for 14 years, he had been sick for quite awhile, and really this should have been done weeks ago, but I was being selfish and naive thinking that he would get better even though I could see that everyday he was getting worse, I was keeping him around for me, not him. I wasn't able to let go of him, even though the rational part of me knew it was time for him to…Continue

My Goals so far this year are:
1. Continue saving money to buy a home. If not this one then something better :)
2. Releasing old wounds.
3. Plan a summer Day-cation. *With farm animals we can't go too far from home but we can do mini day-cations at different…Continue

Here's the deal...we are human and we want things in life...a loving relationship, wealth, health, fitness, career, etc. We think we NEED these things to "make us happy." I've fallen into this trap and I'm soooo done because it sucks ass to want something all the while not being happy with where you are and trying any damn way to soothe yourself. You think..."Mmm...how do I control these thoughts? Through meditation? Thinking positively? What?" I know, I've been there and it just bites. I…Continue

I keep seeing that commercial that has Robin Williams saying something about how life will continue to go on after I am gone but I got a chance to contribute a verse. What will that verse be? One verse can seem very short or quite long but I guess what really matters is what it says.
What is my verse? I am still working on it. A lot of it contains love, love for my children, my family, books and the characters I live with on a daily basis. They help me process the fact that…Continue

Writing down all the things I have to be grateful for, and especially all the things I have to look forward to, along with nice plans I have for the near future really helps keep me on track.
I am looking forward to...
Spring! And seeing my family for Easter. I might even buy myself a nice new outfit for it.
A trip to Myrtle Beach in August

Been distracted and feeling challenged by so many things lately. I'm halfway done, though, and I know I can power through. I spent hours today plotting my next moves, which was draining, yet necessary, and I hope I'm in a better place for it.
I tend to be a neurotic "planner," and I work myself into a frenzy sometimes. Even right now, I'm worrying about finishing all my homework, and getting to class on time and fighting the cold tomorrow. I've got a lot on my plate,…Continue

As human beings, our job in life is to help people realize how rare and valuable each one of us really is, that each of us has something that no one else has—or ever will have—something inside that is unique to all time. It's our job to encourage each other to discover that uniqueness and to provide ways of developing its expression. — Mr. Rogers
One of the things I was working on manifesting was the ability to finish my degree in August instead of December. I had a meeting with an adviser, and unfortunately, it won't work out that way. Two of the three classes I need aren't available over the summer. I'm disappointed by this to say the least, but I am determined to look on the bright sides and I use the plural here, because there are so many.
First, I am grateful that I only have three classes left, instead…Continue

Will focus on achieving stated goals by Friday THIS Week! Nothing like a mandate to keep you focused on what you want to manifest.

What are you seeking?
I am seeking beautiful new offices that are affordable, two early career psychologists to work under me, a 6 figure salary, consistent and fair child support, a beautiful new house with 4 bedrooms in a family friendly neighborhood in a great school district, and a friendly and responsible babysitter.
