Help for Mario
I am asking for prayers and good thoughts for a dear friend. He has traveled half way around the world with nothing, from Nicaragua, to Costa Rica, to Panama, to Amsterdam, and finally to Hong Kong. All this from the goodwill and… Continue

Meditation: or... Stop paddling up stream, taking a leap of faith, letting go of the oars and floating downstream.
No Problem. Start! Like all things new, practice makes perfect. You have to do something everyday for six weeks for it to become a habit. Find a time- morning or night works best, find a place- calm, quiet, and peaceful to you, find some relaxing cd music- positive affirmation, chant, singing bowl, or AUM/OM, and use… Continue

Christmas Is A Spirit Of Giving That Should Last Us All Year
I know to many of us, especially in the US, it seems like this is the year that the "Grinch Stole Christmas."
People are poorer, losing their jobs, houses, inflation is rising, everything seems to cost more, there is a
stranglehold on credit, and generally people feel as if they have been robbed by a very, real Grinch.
While this all may be true, and maybe the… Continue

Attracting What We Really Want In Life: Are You Ready For It? Really?
Sometimes, you must be careful what you ask for....
Thoughts are powerful. If your outward behavior is not practicing what you are thinking about, you won't be ready to accept whatever it is you want when it comes into your life. I am at that point now. So many things are changing so fast, according to my thoughts, goals, dreams, and desires, but in many ways,… Continue

True Happiness in this Life IS Giving
I live with constant back pain. I'm overweight. I'm losing or selling most all the worldly possessions I own due to financial hardship, including my house. I cashed in 20 years of retirement savings to live on because I have no current income. My business of two years is just taking off, will be profitable, and is doing well, but has not made a profit yet. I know that my time is now, that I am making… Continue

Cognitive Shifting to Change Your Mood During the Day
I recently read a good book called "Take Charge of Your Mind" by Paul Hannam and John Selby. At first glance it appears to be another book on improving your performance in the workplace. However, on further examination, the authors cover quite a lot of ground that primarily draws strength from Source Energy, the Universe, and the Law of Attraction.
The most striking idea to me… Continue

Love, What It Means To All Of US...
We all want to be loved. We all want to be loved by our family, friends, peers, people we respect, and our significant others. Love is a many-faceted thing. It is the most important thing there is. It is why we are here. To share in the abundance of love.
Love can be physical, spiritual, mental, emotional, and connects us to different people, things, and circumstances in ways we can explain and in… Continue

Remember that line from the movie Contact? It's true that all great change requires small moves. Small moves over time create massive results. This is what makes the 100-Day Challenge so great. You can see the results quickly, but over time.
I am a career procrastinator. Yet, I have found that I can compromise with myself… Continue

I Joined the Group "Eat Feel Good Food | Restore your natural weight & abilities"
I am creating this group as a place to share foods and recipes that feel good to our body, to consequently, attract our natural weight. The principle is simple: Eat food that feels good when you eat it but also after eating it. Ask your body if this feels good. Please share your experiment with this group! I believe that it is our… Continue

Change is Good, Change is For Everyone
Evolution, Progress, Marathon, Striving For One's Goals and Achievements:
All of these things denote Change; In fact, in this life, Change is the only thing you can be certain of. Things Are Changing; Circumstances Are Changing; Diapers Are For Changing! Nothing stays the same for long. To try to force things, people, situations, circumstances, not to change and stay the same, is not… Continue

Painting by Kunz
Attachment Causes Indecision, Bad Decisions, and Stagnant Energy:
I was just commenting on a point from alisontherabbithole, about something my sister Catherine M Cadieux says to me all the time about material things, gifts and talents we have, or anything we have an attachment to...
Here's a copy of my comment:
It's So True! You have to give it away to get… Continue

I recently spent a lot of time and money developing a five-piece postcard campaign, a door hanger campaign, a newspaper ad campaign, and a new website that are all similar in design, work as unit or separately, and all have my branding, company image, and logo all prominently displayed.
Why do I bring this up? Because, many times in business, we assume clients will find their way to us. Not true. My mentor Dave Lindahl says that "we… Continue

Oil painting is now a therapeutic and great stress releaser for me. I enjoy the creative visual energy it brings out in me. I use my imagination to form images of what I have seen and make them my own. I paint from my mind in my studio, not looking at what I'm painting, but imagining it. I only used a reference photo once because I wanted to get Half Dome's shape correct in my Yosemite painting.
I started painting with oils about 5… Continue

The Optimist's Creed:
I Promise Myself...
To be so strong that nothing can disturb my peace of mind.
To talk health, hapiness, and prosperity to every person I meet.
To make all my friends feel that there is something worthwhile in them.
To look at the sunny side of everything and make my optimism come true.
To think only of the best, to work only for the best, and to expect… Continue

Exercise is the key! Walking! I walked everyday for two months when I was in Spain because I had to! It was hard at first, but after a week I felt a lot better. After, when I came home I had lost 20 pounds! This after eating whatever I wanted and drinking beer everyday! Wow! Now, back in the USA it's really hard because there is so much junk in our food supply, and I am not forced to walk everyday to get somewhere. I try to keep my goal… Continue

What does it mean to have a moment of clarity?
Well for me it now means something different than before.
A moment of clarity can be defined as being in an enlightened state about a particular situation, topic, or fact.
For me, trying to live in the NOW, it means something else. It means that I try to push this moment of clarity onward, with positive energy, from moment to moment -- like the torch bearer for the Olympics.… Continue

I was just thinking about my behavior today. Journaling is a good way to reflect on what you have done or not done throughout your day to accomplish your goals. It is also a good way, as the Power of Now says, to take control of your thoughts. You are not the summation of your thoughts. To stand outside your thoughts and your mind, through meditation and reflection, is like getting off of the merry-go-round of your life and looking at the… Continue
