Day 12 Season 8 A brief update
Hello CoCreators...
I still haven't officially posted my goals yet for this season. I think I am paying a bit more attention as to what is important in this moment or during this season rather than my Big Vision. I have so many things that I am doing/would love to do that I sometime struggle with "chunking" them down or focusing on 1, 2 (or 3) things at once.
This season for sure I want to have my next book complete in a way that has me and my publisher beaming with anticipation of its release! This whole "team thing" is a bit new to me but I am realizing how important it is for all of us to LOVE the book!!! I want the message to resonate with me and the world and it is so important for everyone at the publishing house to be enthusiastic about going out to sell it. Hhhmmm...though you are never going to please everyone. With our 1st book a lot of the big publishers didn't love it--and we didn't even get glowing reviews from Publishers Weekly or Booklist (not bad but not great) but that was fine-they were the ones who didn't love it but the world and our publisher did...a better deal for us! So it will be intresting to see how this one works out.
My othe project this season is my "Children's Author Academy". It is my 1st tele-seminar for people intrested in writing, publishing and marketing their own children's books. Class starts on October 23rd and will be 6 One Hour phonecalls. It has been an expandin process for me...which has been perfect. There has been a lot of new things for me to learn in the launching of the class and I realized that is the same feeling people will experience when I share "all" that there is to know and learn when you embark on creating your very own book and bestseller. I am looking forward to share as much as I possibly can about my experience with as many people as possible in a way that gives them the knowledge, motivation and inspiriation to bring their own book into the world!
Those are my two "Big Goals" for this season...I'm sure there will be more to come!
