The 100 Day Reality Challenge

I finished the cleanse last Tuesday. I completed 14 days this time which was the longest that I have done it for. It was the easiest of my cleanses. I know I could have gone longer, but I was getting a bit tired of the lemonade! Plus, my metabolism had slowed down and I was feeling cold all the time which is so opposite of my usual temperature.
So, I am back eating now and am thinking about going back on the cleanse soon in some modified fashion! I may do an every other day cleanse or just go back on it for 3 or 4 days. There is nothing like the feeling you get when your system is clean!
If anyone is contemplating doing the cleanse, my advise is to go for it and get as far as you can. Even two or three days on it will help, but you will miss out on the best feeling part of it which seems to start around day five for me.
Happy Spring everyone!

I have 2 thoughts on that!
First, do what feels right to you. There are many cleanses out there. For me, this really cleanses me completely and I feel refreshed after doing it.
Second, you can adjust the formula to add more maple syrup to keep your weight up. You may feel some cold though as your metabolism slows down during the cleanse.
Hope that helps!

Thanks Fred. I will definitely follow the directions coming off of the cleanse! You are right, besides the wonderful stuff the cleanse has been doing for my body, the biggest benefit has been my ability to prove the strength of my will power to myself at a time I needed to most! Thanks for your inspiration!

When you come off the cleanse, take it slow and follow the directions. If you start eating solids too quickly you may have some discomfort.
Great job on your first time! Many try and few get there, so now you know the power of your thoughts!

Hi Fred, I'm on day 8 (of 10) of the Master Cleanse today & I'm a first-timer. I am amazed that you could do 14 days! I'm looking forward to eating again in a few days! Just reading your post has inpsired me to hang in there for the last 2 days! Thanks :-)

And Cherette, I stopped take the saltwater stuff in the mornings I work to avoid any discomfort during my work day, but I do follow the plan for the evenings and it seems to be working so far!

I actually started the cleanse this time on a Weds. because my schedule then was pretty flexible. I do plan the cleanse so that I start it on days that give me some morning time at home, but the "side effects" are very manageable whenever you start. If I need to be somewhere early, I may pass on the saltwater process that morning.
Good luck with the cleanse!

I was just looking at an article about this yesterday and will definitely give it a try. Just wondering... I'm assuming you started this on a Saturday because you wouldn't want to be at work when the lemonade was doing it's magic, right? Once you were a couple of days into the cleanse how did you manage "side effects" of the program while working?
