The 100 Day Reality Challenge

Passionate, Persistent Action Wins Over Procrastination Every Time

Passionate, Persistent Action Wins Over Procrastination Every Time
Small Moves, Ellie, Small Moves...

Remember that line from the movie Contact? It's true that all great change requires small moves. Small moves over time create massive results. This is what makes the 100-Day Challenge so great. You can see the results quickly, but over time.

I am a career procrastinator. Yet, I have found that I can compromise with myself and "pick up where I left off" without judgement, guilt, or shame and continue on to finish what must be done. Learn to live in the Now. Ekhardt Tolle's "the Power of the NOW" is my favorite book of all time right now. He says, when you live in the present, the now, you are no longer dependent on the past for your idenity, or the future for your fulfillment. Observe your behavior and learn from it, but don't judge it. Get off the merry-go-round you are on called life and take a hard look at it with objective eyes. The only thoughts about what you do in this life that truly matter are yours. Be your own best friend, do what you love, the money will follow, do what you get excited about, and do your best at it, and you will succeed. Share your gifts with others and you will be happy. Find out what YOU are passionate about, what excites you, what you can talk about all night without sleep, AND DO THAT! Remember, the only time you can take action about ANYTHING is in the present moment, in the NOW. The past is gone. Forget about it. The future is not here, stop waiting for it. Enjoy now.

It took me 20 years to start this journey, You are ahead of me! : )

The Journey is more important than the destination. That is what is exciting about the 100-Day Challenge.

Peace.

Small and passionate is what I'm all about! But what stops my progress is inconsistency! The 100 day challenge is keeping me focused on what I TRULY WANT with all my heart. I love this place!

Amen, I can relate to that. Most of my moves are small moves and I am often surprised when a project gets done! Staying present helps a lot....good post.

Yes I totally agree, I am always on a journey, in work, and life. I would like to share a thought from looking at all the videos that I muster up out of youtube that I find the Native American Indians to have had it all along. Here we build and construct nothing and deplete the beauty of the earth and our relationship to it and our Creator. We can not go back but we can tear it all down and let the earth be free again. Blessings to you on your journey.
