The 100 Day Reality Challenge

Certain things I've been doing really well at. Monday thru Friday I work out a little bit every morning. I've noticed if I do it every morning I never procrastinate on it. So I'm happy with my progress there.

I do need to eat healthier. Eating better is not one of my strong points at all. I'm not really sure how to broaden that. I eat way too many carbs & Processed (junk) foods. Any suggestions would be helpful. Especially since when I was a kid I was a very picky eater & that bad habit has followed me into adulthood.

But I did open myself up to some new things last night! My boyfriend and I went out to get Greek food Something I had never tried before & I watched a movie that was from Sweden! So all in all I've made strides- small ones but I think I need to start changing things around.

Well of course you get woozy because your body is used to the sugar and it wants it! That's why they call it a sugar addiction. That's why I say add more protein and fat which will help counteract the effects. Plus, you'll lose weight if you want to.'ll lose weight eating butter if you just cut all of the carbs except for a bit of fruit. Apples are really great when you feel woozy. They are big and have sugar in them, but it's natural sugar so not as bad. The first week I was off carbs I did get a little depressed. I went with it. Just start adding in and cutting out. No need to go into shock!

Good luck! I can get a bit dogmatic about diet stuff.

Lori- Yeah for some reason I can't give up carbs completely my body goes wonkers and then it leads to me feeling woozy or even fainting. It's really strange. But I know I over kill them and I need to work the veggies and protein in there more often then I do. I think what it boils down to is eating a better breakfast and Lunch. And I don' think I would ever ignore anyone's advice- especially yours!

Lotus- Yeah for some reason the morning works well for me. It's like No excuses just get up do this and then I can mess around. If I do it too late I get lazy or caught up in whatever I'm working on and totally forget about it. But yes I totally agree having a habit makes it way easier. so far so good- I've done this for 2 weeks straight now. Yeah I've watched things like "Supersize Me" and it's deterred me a little bit but not completely. and not from sweets. And thanks for the encouraging words!

Heyyy Natalieeee! I work out just before I go to bed because I'm too stiff in the morning, but having a specific time helps sooo much!!
Almonds are my snacks all the time because they curb your hunger and mega healthy!! I gave up junk food about 3 months ago simply by thinking how repulsive having it inside me made me feel, some sort of weird psychological thing going on there I supose :D

Your doing soooo well!! Go you!!! Keep up with the working'll get addicted to it, seriouslyyyy|!! xxx

I don't eat any carbs except for a little fruit and the occasional potato. Eat more protein, and I know people would be shocked, but eat more fat like good quality butter and coconut oil. Stay away from corn oils or soy oils or anything like this. To wean yourself, start slowly. Get rid of all items with sugar...then move on to other things like bread. I haven't been eating carbs for going on 7 weeks and I feel much better, but I'm also working with someone. He has me on a modified candida diet because he thinks I have candida. The first week was really hard. I have other hard moments when I go to the movies and such because I'm used to eating candy. The trick is to give yourself other yummy food to take the place of the junk food, and then if you slip, not to get angry but to realize that you made a choice to eat something bad. I hope this helps. If it doesn't, well ignore it! : )

So how did you ween yourself off of them? I think that's one of my hardest problems is it's so hard for me to let go of them.

I used to eat a lot of carbs, but managed to wean myself of them, cooking ffod is easier and quiker than most people think, but its best to watch someone cook the dish first, rather than looking through cook books, or go on youtube, theres loads of dishes on there.
its also healthier never to mix protien with carbs always have them seprate or at least try , so you can have protien with veg or carbs with veg, it takes a while to get your head round it, and make it a good habit,
at least you are aware and trying.
i hope this helps, let me know how you get on.

Health, energy, real food and blessings!
