Day 25 - a good day

Been to a workshop where the theme was love .. there was quite an intense but excellent meditation where I did feel some of the pain in my heart, but also I think I managed to open my heart a bit more and release some stuff. My friend did a kind of healing with her singing bowl for all of us and she said what came to her was that next year for me was going to be a fresh start with a move and something related to Earth .. maybe gardening. 

This kind of resonated because I am planning on looking at possible opportunities to work at retreat centres or do some work on house projects, and possibly away from where I live now. I love Yorkshire and always will, but I don't particularly like living in the small town I'm at now, generally prefer to live in larger places, I live near Leeds but don't like Leeds any more so don't want to move back there. Harrogate where I work is lovely and large enough but for whatever reason I've never felt like it would be the right place to live. Also I've had quite a few friends that have left the area in the past 3 years which has been somewhat disappointing for me. 

There is one place in the UK which has felt like 'home' to me when I've visited it, so I'll probably look and see if there are any suitable opportunities near there .. and there could be. This place in question though, is not that near a big city, so I don't know what it would be like living there. I'm not sure I want to go anywhere abroad just yet. Travelling is something I definitely want to do, but ideally I'd like to have enough money to travel without having to work much whilst doing it. Hmm things to ponder there. 

I also drew a angel card 'Cupid' which said that rather than trying to fix externals, that I need to fall in love with life, or words to that effect. That resonated with me. 

Anyway, that's it for now. Gonna be busy over next 2 days as my colleague is off .. but I managed to cope with a busy Friday so fingers crossed I'll be fine.
