Day 27
Synchronicity abounds!
Today was very interesting. I went to visit my aunt in the hospital, and she told me about how she had been lying awake last night, wanting to pray with someone, and then in the morning, that someone turned op in the form of a person she had known briefly in her youth. It's a long story, but suffice it to say, this person turning up was an unexpected blessing.
Her story prompted me to talk about synchronicity, and I told her about how things have been aligning very nicely in my life recently, and I told her about the book recommendation I had been given recently, joking about how it is about finding your passion in 4 weeks, yet there was a 5 week waiting list at the library. Well, the first thing that happened after that was that my aunt went to get some lunch, and I picked up something to read from the table we were sitting at. The newspaper at the top had a horrible front page, so I skipped that and went to a pleasant-looking ladies' magazine, opened it, and who did I see a picture of? None other than Debbie Ford, the mentor of the author of the book I had just been talking about. And then about half and hour later I got a text message from the library telling me the book had come in early and was ready for me. Isn't that extraordinary?
And of course, I got a fabulous parking space right in front of the entrance to the hospital, and my family once again marvelled at my parking space "luck". Who needs luck when you have the LoA? ;-)
Life is great when you're going downstream.

I'll let you know when I've read the one I'm getting. After a couple of years of reading nothing (of value) at all, I'm going through a vast volume of books and audio books, so I'm getting them all from the library, and sometimes I have to wait a little while because these sorts of books are quite popular. I love audio books, though. I spend about 30 minutes in the car every day, so it's nice to spend that time listening to something productive.

Very interesting, Vicki, what you're learning about synchronicity. It certainly was apparent during my recent trip, as mentioned - (and thank you for your comment at my page) - I was spontaneously hosted to several parties and felt so comfortable with everyone. Got the parking places, too, in an unfamiliar city, and a brand-new friend said twice, "You should move here, you really should.." hmmm.
How do you like two Chopra books?

Hahaha, long tittles lol
I didn't know there are two books! but I looked in amazon for the two tittles and I compare the content and it's the same! I didn't know about the long tittles 'cause I have it in Spanish and the only tittle it has is "Synchrodestiny". So, congrats you find it! we can search some reviews if you want ;)
And about what sunshine wrote, I have thought that too. Maybe there are coincidences everywhere but now we can notice them. And as we know LoA works, if we gives our attention to this sychronicities (this word actually exist?) we get more of that, they will show themselves a lot in our lifes.
I'm still working on it to be aware of the sychronicity :)

Angelica, the library didn't have Synchrodestiny: Harnessing the Infinite Power of Coincidence to Create Miracles, but I have ordered The Spontaneous Fulfillment of Desire: Harnessing the Infinite Power of Coincidence instead. It's published in the same year and seems to be about synchrodestiny too. I'm not sure what the difference between the two books is, but I'll read it when I get it. What is it with Deepak Chopra and long titles? LOL!

It's wonderful when that happens!!! I have had those situations a few times now myself. What I wonder is whether I had similar situations before I was aware of the loa and just let them slip by unnoticed...but luckily I am aware now and can treasure each time it happens. So happy for you that you had a moment like that. I know you had a huge smile on your face :)

Thanks for the book recommendation. I love what I've read and heard from Deepak Chopra so far, so I'll see if my local library has it.
I love how you co-creators can take an everyday post like mine and get as excited about it as I am. It's so nice to get positive feedback even on my baby-steps. :-)

And I'm happy for you that can notice that synchrony!
I don't know if you have read it, but I'm reading a book called "Synchrodestiny" of Deepak Chopra. It's very interesting and also he give some recommendations to be aware of synchronicity. They are signs from the universe showing you the road :)
