The 100 Day Reality Challenge

Do you ever feel like you are stuck? Like whatever you do, pounding on that door as hard as you can, it just won't open?

This weekend I read a column by a swedish journalist I really like, Karin Thunberg. She wrote about the necessity of finding new ways, sometimes even unvoluntarily.

It was that day or that evening when we took a decision, turned on our heel, decided not to try to force the door that had been closed - as we suddenly discovered something else.

I have found recognizing closed doors and accepting them being closed is really difficult. And it made me think of the Bible:

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Yes, I hereby ask God, the Universe, my Guardian angels or whatever force is out there, to help me recognizing both closed and open doors, to turn my heel on closed ones and have the courage to step through the open ones!

That is a wonderful reminder of how to think of things when you feel stuck. I feel that frequently and try to remind myself anyway I can to just "accept it" -for those things I can't change. I hope you find your serenity and courage this season. pj
