Days 38 and 39 - birthday weekend

It's been a nice weekend, pretty busy, pretty low key in some ways which suits me, some people involved but not too many, also had the company of two dogs today who were soooooo cute. Yesterday, I was in Durham and met up with my friend Phil, originally from the south coast like me but who now lives in Sunderland, and his wife Caroline. Durham is a nice city but I think it might be nicer to visit in the Spring. Yesterday evening after arriving back home, I went for a meal with my ex-housemates Paddy and Matt. Today, I did some housework this morning (booooo) and this afternoon met up with my friends Vicky and Jeanette and we wondered around Otley Chevin (a kind of forest area) with two dogs, and then went into Otley where there was a Victorian Christmas Fayre which happens every December. Otley is not usually this lively and it was pretty cool. This evening, I am going to a meditation. 

All in all, it's been a good weekend. I am hoping the next two weeks will be a little quieter at work, as we move into 12/12/12 and 21/12/12. Should be interesting times. I am not sure what is going to happen but am going to try and keep an open mind.
