I just had a quick read over my last post at the end of season 1 and was blown away by how much (once again) has changed since I finished up in May.
Wendy and I went to the US and had a blast, probably the most fun trip I've had. We travelled really well together and will definitely do it again.
The trip really highlighted for me my current passion and that is helping Martial Arts School Owners to build really successful businesses in a way that IS NOT what I saw at the convention I went to (2 years running).
I mentioned last time that I had been approached to coach some clients in business and I did that and really that set the ball rolling in the direction I am now headed.
I've developed a program called The Honourable Martial Arts Entrepreneur and it works around 5 principles that will see MA school owners develop their personal brand, fill their school and help them pursue opportunities outside the dojang.
All very exciting stuff and I can't wait to get the first program up and running!
Over the past 6 weeks or so I have been working hard on my launch formula and have just finished recording a 5 part video series that will be my business card / lead capture.
Tomorrow I am going to look at a very beautiful venue to hold the first 1 day event, this room is usually $1,000's of dollars but because of a contact I have I am getting it at a fraction of the cost - it is all coming together!!
I should have my launch material ready by the end of next week and then my sales lady can get cracking on filling the venue with 50 MA school owners!!
My taekwondo school is going from strength to strength and I just love everything about it, this is vastly different from my previous schools because of the way I have structured it, this is what I will be teaching in my course and I cannot wait for the school owners to see that there is a much, much better way to run a school than the traditional way.
My love life has definitely taken a turn for the better.
I met a wonderful man called Dave and we have been together for 3 months, this relationship is everything I could have hoped for and much, much more...for both of us...it's just amazing.
It has now been over a year since my separation and almost a year after my hip surgery and both seem like a lifetime ago!!
Life is fantastic in every single way.
My kids are great.
My relationship is the best I have ever experienced.
I love my work.
I'm in good shape.
I have friends and enjoy a good social life.
I have everything I need.
I'm heading to Thailand in November to train at a fight camp for a week but I'm heading over a week early with Dave so we can have our first holiday together. It's going to be amazing.
Complacency is a bad thing so I have set myself some lofty goals for the remainder of the year.
There are 102 days until 2014 and I plan to make every one of them count.
I have one single goal for this 100 Day Challenge and that is for my new business to generate $250,000.00 by 31st Dec 2013.
I have a lot of work to do between now and then but it is highly do-able.
Bring it on I say!
