The 100 Day Reality Challenge

Sometimes its easy to doubt the Law of Attraction, especially after you have put time and effort into cultivating your belief system and nothing seems to be working towards making your goal any more your reality than flying through the air. In fact, others seem to be getting your wishes and dreams while you visualize, meditate, think positive, work towards and all the other Law of Attraction techniques you are using seem to be failing.

This is when the soul gets weaker and the motivation starts to become weary. The “it’s not fair” or “this is all crap” thoughts start to creep in, creep in???? More like smash in at a hundred knots an hour.

But this is when we need to stay our strongest. To carry on in peace, using our tools and staying in the moment. Strengthening our belief and carrying on, no matter what the odds may seem.

My favourite quote is from Tom Hanks in Castaway – “I had to keep breathing, even though I had no reason to hope, and all my logic said that I would never see this place again. ... And, I kept breathing. Because tomorrow the sun will rise. Who knows what the tide could bring? ...”

So when in doubt, we need to keep breathing and keep believing and keep working towards, because one day you will look up and in bewilderment realise that it happened.

.... and up your efforts

A swan doesn’t doubt its beauty or where its next meal will come from, be a swan, the most beautiful swan you can be..

Today I am having to ruffle my feather and remind myself to be a swan

Your post got me wishing there were some exercises in maintaining patience as it relates to the LOA. Then I thought "why not create an exercise". If you think back to all of your manifestation successes, no matter how big or small, and how long they each took to manifest, you can use that as a reference point each time the doubt creeps in to remind yourself of the power of the LOA and restore your faith. One key thing I struggle with is the "allowing" it to happen, and a big part of that is letting go - believing fully that its taken care of because you simply placed the order knowing it will be fulfilled and the rest takes care of itself. Easier said than done of course, but practicing helps.

That is exactly true!! Abraham/ Esther Hicks says to allow yourself to have those feelings, and then move on from them - let them go. It is important to recognize those feelings for what they are when they happen, but be strong enough to move beyond those feelings - remind yourself that happy feelings are what attract what you need, so focus your attention on something that makes you feel good.

You have to remember also that you have retroactive negative thoughts that are coming around, and they need time to be cleared away. You're filling up that escrow with positivity, and it will take a little bit to kick in. Relax in the fact that you are going through the last of it because you know better now!

Excellent post!

I did have to stop myself last night and remind myself to stay of track. not to feel too despondent, you know, its really hard to stop a feeling or emotion even though you know it is wrong, my logic was saying "that's enough of that stupidity" but my emotions were saying "just let me feel it for a little bit"

A friend of mine said in regards to this: We all need a reminder now and then, because it does feel like this, for everybody, at different times ... and to know that it's not because "I must be doing something wrong", or "I'm not a good enough person" ... it's a good opportunity to check your mindset, check your thought processes, reword your "intentions" and your affirmations, check who you're hanging out with ...

and know that "my time is now, I am open to receiving abundantly all that I wish for myself". I have learned for myself that I cannot impose my timeline on the universe ... doesn't mean I shouldn't try, but don't be despondent if the things you wish for appear to be taking ages ... it's coming, it's nearly there ... believe it!!

I totally understand where you're coming from, firstlove!

You know what I realized? I realized that my flow wasn't in any particular practice or any particular habit that I had formed (or was trying to form!). My flow was being present and loving who I am and enjoying my life.

I found my flow when I was not tied to any one practice, or when I wasn't beating myself up about whether I was doing things right or if what I wanted was taking too long. This is my ideal life that I am living, and if this is my ideal life, then I am doing things exactly right. I have the awareness of the Law of Attraction and the Law of Gratitude, and with these laws I will achieve all that I am intending! How can there be doubt in that?? =D
