Getting back on track - Days 61 - 66 of Season 8

It's been a hectic week emotionally and mentally, but I'm pulling through it. Child Protective Services should have contacted my mom today. I more than likely will not hear about it personally, but my siblings might. She's not talking to me, of course.

I petitioned for guardianship of my 16 year old sister yesterday, we have a court date on July 30th. I hope that my siblings come out to support me. My mom mentioned to my younger brother that she was going to ask my oldest brother to take custody of my 16 year old sister. He's homeless right now, leaving his wife for another woman, and laughed when I asked him if my mom contacted him about it. So much for her plan B.

It will work itself out. I'm not going to stress over it.

I got great news about being an intricate part of this credit business that is lacking education for its customers. I will be able to provide Personal Credit Development services for all of the individuals that they have coming through. That is truly thrilling, and means that my income will grow by leaps and bounds. I am looking forward to getting it started.

I paid a deposit to start work on my business plan. I intend to pay the remaining balance next week. Everything seems to be moving along smoothly, and I am looking forward to applying for a business loan soon.

I registered today in a Pre-Social Work degree program. I am upgrading my current Associates of Liberal Arts degree so that I can get a job with the state in a Government Eligibility Interviewing or Social and Human Services Assistant position. I should get it within a year. It will give me the benefits I need while I make money for my family AND put me right in the middle of the population of people that I want to work with in my credit program.

Things are hectic but good. I have only finished 38 of the 50 articles that I was supposed to finish during the first half of June though. I'm disappointed about that. This means that I haven't been paid from my writing jobs all month :( We're feeling the pain too - we were out of diapers for 2 days. We're okay now though, and I hope to finish these articles today, I have 12 to finish.

I may be getting the money soon to pay off my tuition with Ellis and finish that last class in the fall. I am SO excited about that. I am expecting it the end of this week - my fingers are crossed.

Love,

Tamara

LOL That would make things so much easier to have a button like that, wouldn't it? I already know you understand me though Sandra, and that really helps. Thank you!
