It happened for a reason

This morning I awoke to discover I had caught a cold and could barely get myself out of bed. This was my last day off before Christmas and I still have so much to do. Who has time to laze around all day at this time of year?! Certainly, not me! I had goals and tasks to accomplish today – this couldn’t be happening! (Fortunately it was.) While my mind believed that I would get a burst of energy at any moment, my body on the otherhand had other plans. As it turns out, so did my soul.

I swallowed some flu meds while sipping tea, sat myself in front of my computer and patiently waited for my strength to return. My intention was to nurture my soul for a few hours thus recharging my batteries. The energy burst I was expecting never came. Instead I received exactly what I had asked for in a different manner. What I now know, is that next time, I should be more specific. I didn’t clarify - Lesson learned! However, the majestic beauty of this whole experience is that the universe INSTANTLY provided.

Discovering CCOR was an accident. Or was it? I was feeling miserable this morning so I sought out inspiration online. One link led to another and before I knew it, I was here and had stumbled upon everything my soul was seeking. (subconsciously perhaps?)

AMAZING!
- My (inner) strength has returned.
- My soul is feeling nurtured
- My (spiritual) batteries are recharged

I am both humbled and elated.
