Exercise is the key! Walking! I walked everyday for two months when I was in Spain because I had to! It was hard at first, but after a week I felt a lot better. After, when I came home I had lost 20 pounds! This after eating whatever I wanted and drinking beer everyday! Wow! Now, back in the USA it's really hard because there is so much junk in our food supply, and I am not forced to walk everyday to get somewhere. I try to keep my goal which is to walk 40-60 minutes 6 days a week. I take my dog and she loves it! I miss here and there, but I get right back up and do it again because I want to be healthy to be there for my family. Doing it for others is sometimes an easier way to get started than trying to force yourself to feel better about yourself and do something for yourself that's good. This is especially true for women I think, because they are the givers and nurturers of the world. Hang in there, don't judge yourself from the past-- It's Over! Do in the present and be grateful for what you have and more will come to you. You have to work on yourself and your purpose first, and then attract what you need to accomplish it. Besides A New Earth, another good Eckhart Tolle book is the Power of the Now. The present is all we have, and when we realize this, we are no longer dependent on the past for our identity, and we are no longer dependent on the future for our fulfillment.
