The 100 Day Reality Challenge

So - living from the Heart. It's really the only way forward in life, isn't it?

My focus for this 100 Day Challenge (my first season) is about getting really strong in my beliefs and then living those beliefs. It's not as easy as it sounds and has gotten me thinking about what I really believe and about how I act in all situations. Sometimes I live from my heart and sometimes I allow my ego to be the interpreter of a situation and lash out.

My intention is to be aware of everything that I say and do. My intention is to keep my thoughts trained on ideas that support my positive growth (which I have been more successful in in the last three months than at any other time in my life). My intention is to take into consideration where everything that I consume comes from. My intention is to create wealth in a sustainable way that uplifts humanity. My intention is to be appreciative and filled with gratitude (I've just joined the 30 Day Appreciation Challenge).

My list of beliefs is still a work in progress (is it ever really complete?) however this is what I have so far - those beliefs that underpin my life and that I want to really live. These are the things that came up strongly for me.

* Everything is connected - and everything that we do or say has a flow on effect and a creative effect.
* My thoughts create my world. Our Collective Thoughts create Our Collective World.
* We are here on this planet to evolve and learn to live from love (i.e. the heart!) - both individually and as a species.
* Living from the Heart means living a dharmic life and treating everything with love and respect.
* Reality isn't real - quantum physics at its best. We can create anything that we want.
* Every moment is a choice point, and our lives are directed by our choices.
* That to evolve as a species we have to live in harmony with our planet.
* The Earth and all her beings have the same rights as we do.
* Non Violent Communication (NVC) is the best way to communicate in all situations (this one can be HARD!! That's why I added it to my list because I want to take my training and live it. Because this communication is empathetic it means you are connecting with people and are living from love).
* Appreciation and Gratitude are the key to living a happy and fulfilled life.
* For this world to be a loving place for all we must "Think Local when we Act Global" - that is only support businesses that act in ways we would be happy with having in our own back yard, both environmentally and humanly.
* My body is the outer interpretation of who I am and needs to be treated with respect.
* My environment gives me lessons every single moment.
* Just beyond discomfort lies breakthrough!

So - I am happy to be on this challenge, I am happy to be working towards living from my heart. I'm excited about the endles possibilities that may occur as I live my beliefs.

I think that one of the greatest challenges will be to take over from my automatic response to situations, especially in my tone and what I say to people. Morris Goodman talks about our horse - that inner part of us that grabs on to the 'normal way of doing things' and runs with us every time we try and take it off it's 'normal' track. I realised that this was going to be a biggie for me when my car wheels unaligned - I'm currently driving with a left leaning car and my mum was saying how you have to be clear and focused and totally present on the road otherwise the car will start driving to the left. And it's the same with our lives - we have to be clear and present and focused otherwise our horse will take us along the same old same old.

This challenge is exciting for me especially as to live from the Heart one must meditate - I don't think that there is any way around this. And one of my goals is to meditate in the morning and in the evening. And I did last night, for 50 minutes. So - am very excited that I am up and running (and that I did it, I probably wouldn't have if I hadn't had to comment today :>).

Till tomorrow.

Dear Anasuya, Girlfriend, you hit the nail on the head regarding all your beliefs. I am in total agreement. I loved your reference to the horse/car. If its a car you might say if its out of alignment you might go crashing into something. When you ride a horse and you dont use the raines to direct him in the right direction he will usually turn around and head back to the stable.
I to am looking forward to this challenge. Thanks for the garlic...lol...Hugs JILLY
