I am only on the second day of my challenge and things are already looking up. It has been so powerful to reconnect with this group. I feel inspired to transform my life in the next 100 days. That inspiration is keeping me going through the myriad of tasks that must be completed.
Today my oldest son is of high priority. I need to get him registered for school and get him down to campus for a placement test for math. We are also ordering him a new laptop and a bunk bed that the bottom level is a queen sized futon that can fold into a couch. It would be perfect for him to play video games with his friends. I love that he is happy and feels good hanging around our house with his friends. I love that he is safe and happy here. I even love giving him and his friends rides all over the place. He is a wonderful kid. So in about an hour he is going to come help me get these things rolling.
Also today I will continue the room fix-up project. I am embarrassed to say that I still have not hung the curtain rod but I am fairly certain that I will do it today. I stopped by lowes last night and bought the ceiling paint and a new brush. I am now up to about 100 dollars of the 200 I had allotted myself for my room makeover. So far all of that has been in paint too. I am using curtains I already had and they look fantastic. Considering how to spend my last 100 for the maximum impact is a lot of fun.
I will go to physical therapy today and get the paperwork faxed over to the lawyer. (My car was hit before Thanksgiving. I was a passenger, my friend was driving, and another friend was a passenger too. We are in physical therapy for whiplash).
So I am off to get some things accomplished and to feel great about it. Each of these actions bridges the gap between what is and what I want. I am going to enjoy every minute.
